While out in the Lexington area I had the desire for a good bowl of Ramen which led me to Sushi Matsumoto. The service and atmosphere of the restaurant made me feel welcome and ready to enjoy a delicious meal. The gyoza were crispy and full of amazing flavor, the dipping sauce only adding to the depth of flavor. The ramen, packed big flavors in the broth was complimented well by the chewy noodles.

I didn’t expect I could find an authentic Japanese restaurant in Lexington, so it was a good surprise! We ordered Katsu Curry and Katsu Don. Katsu was thick and fried perfectly. Portion of food is great with the price. I personally like lighter taste, so Katsu Don was little bit salty for me, but it’s still good! Katsu Curry became my son’s favorite dish!! I hope they will update menu on their website because the dish I originally wanted from the menus was actually discontinued at the restaurant. We will definitely go back whenever we have a chance.
