Oh wow! We stopped by for a quick cup of ice cream and were blown away! We sampled a variety of the special flavors and loved the Cinnamon Graham and the Lemon Oreo. Each bite was luscious, rich, and creamy! I'm not an ice cream fanatic but I would absolutely drive two hours back here for this ice cream. I think it's taken the spot of BEST Ice Cream in Virginia for me!

The staff was very kind, offered plenty of samples, was so kind to my children, and answered any questions we had! Great place!!

I ordered a waffle cone with Heath ice cream. Could have used more Heath pieces, but it was fine. The waffle cone was unacceptable as a cone - it crumbled and fell apart immediately just barely holding onto it. Luckily I had a cup in my car that I dumped it into before it got all over me and the car. BUT, the cone itself was the best tasting cone I've ever had. The fact it was crumbly and fell apart made it perfect for a bowl, etc. Hard to describe how good it was, but don't try to carry it around.

My husband and I stopped by on a road trip. We heard about this place from southern living.
There were 3 teens working behind the counter all were polite and efficient.

The ice cream and waffle cone were both excellent.

This ice cream shop has been around for so many years! It is purely homemade ice cream and the waffle cones are also made there. The ice cream is flavorful and creamy. You will have to take cash as, the last time I was in there, they still did not take cards. Definitely worth a visit!

They won’t take credit cards and the ATM machine in the store was out of order. It’s 2024… a ton of people don’t carry cash.
