My daughter made a reservation for ten. We ended up being more than a dozen. No problem. GREAT waitresses. Name changed to TONIC. Menu has some of the same items, but we were disappointed. I ordered the Pork Butt which formerly was an actual pork butt and was delicious. A gourmet meal. I received chopped pork, edible, but not worth 1/5th the cost. edible. Several guests ordered hamburgers of one type or another. Several ordered medium rare. ALL were burned up. All had jalapeno on them which was NOT on the menu. I discussed the meal with the manager and her reply was, " We have a different menu now." No indication that she cared that I was upset or any acknowledgement that jalapeno was served on all burgers. The bill approached $300 before tip which was ridiculous for the quality and quantity received. I would have sent most of the food back to the kitchen except some of had to proceed home out of town and others had to hurry back to a performance.
Clean, nice location and a good costumer service!
Food was solid but the space was so weird. Indoors felt mid renovation
Enjoyed my lovely meal on the porch!
Saturday night outtdoor supper for two. Attentive service by Liz. Although slightly overcooked, Shrimp and grits flavorful. Great apps and desserts. Handy downtown location, yet quiet because the covered patio was at the back.
Stopped in for lunch. Food was very good with excellent service.
Great location to everything Lexington! Parking is a little weird to find, but we asked for help and they made it very clear. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the historic building is very well maintained. The attached restaurant/bar had great food and drinks!
Comfy stay. Older historic hotel with a restaurant and bar. Kind of fun having an old fashion key. Room and bathroom were very clean, bathroom was very roomy. Has refrigerator and coffee maker, lots of cream and sugar.Only real complaint was the air-conditioning didn't cool the room real well.
Top notch afternoon meal outdoors on a beautiful Lexington summer day.
Came here for food and drinks. All five of us had the grilled chicken fig jam sandwich and agreed it was amazing. So much so, that all sandwiches were too eaten up before I could take a decent pic, so I took a pic of our dog by this cool sign instead. Service was great as well!

The food is always good here and they have a nice outdoor area. Interesting drinks!
Nice atmosphere, good service. The cod special and the corn soup special were good. I got a salad with a piece of salmon. The salmon was a bit over done but ok on the salad. The deserts should be avoided. The chocolate torte was more like a chocolate cream pie. We sent it back. The key lime pie was worse. I guess we really did not need desert.
Awesome comfortable, convenient, historic. Clean, great bed. Delicious inhouse restaurant.
The stay was GREAT, room was excellent, and service was spot on. Didn't get a chance to eat in the restaurant. I do think changing the name was a mistake.
I loved this place! Great atmosphere and fun all around. The ribs were amazing and already have been back multiple times.
