Fox Meadow Vineyards & Winery

This is my happy place. The wine is good, the people are friendly and the views are exquisite. It’s only an hour 20 from DC but it’s gorgeous and relaxing. It’s currently owned by Amanda and Whitaker who are down-to-earth and are constantly working to make the place as comfortable and welcoming as possible. I also love their snack menu - the baguettes and cheese selections were what really sealed the deal for me when I became a member 2+ years ago, and I haven’t regretted it for a single moment. Highly recommend.

We had the most fantastic wine dinner at Foxmeadow! The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and gracious. The wine was excellent, the food delicious, and the setting unsurpassed. A truly memorable experience!!

Although this may be a beautiful winery, we were greeted at 4:15, with a sorry folks we close at 5:00 and last call is in 15 min. … we asked about a tastings and told they do table side service, so we walked ourselves out on the deck to find no tables availabale. The place was packed, for a dinner event at 5:00?
I’m not sure but we felt very unwelcomed and left…

Just wow, the hospitality was unprecedented! Casey was knowledgeable and made wonderful recommendations on which wines would suit our individual tastes. The baguettes were fresh baked and the goat cheese was fresh and local. Couldn't ask for a better winery experience with goegeous mountain views!

We loved the wines....we also appreciated the input of Stephanie ( Emma Stone) what we didn't like is that today it felt like a day care. We are trying to appreciate the wine and views without your unruly children. It must be so much fun for them watching mommy and daddy get drunk and drive them home...good times.Yes, I have children ( now adults) and would have never thought to ruin your experience with them acting like feral animals. ( Mine were taught better than that)

Beautiful property. The atmosphere is gorgeous the wines are excellent. Very scenic drive from the Front Royal entrance to Shenandoah National Park. and our wine tasting guide was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative. After the wine tasting, we enjoyed our favorite wine choices with a charcuterie board and enjoyed the view. We stayed in Middleburg, entered Shenandoah national Park Near the Dickey Ridge welcome center, drove to the Skyland area of the park and back, and stopped at the winery before returning to Middleburg. Great Day.

Fox Meadow is an excellent winery with a great view and a very engaging staff that did an excellent job of being present but giving us the space and time to enjoy relaxing. The wine was all great, better than most we've had in VA but still keeping true to the VA wine experience.

We love this winery! We have been to many wineries in the area and this is by far our favorite. We love the winery so much that this is where my (now) fiancé decided to propose. He worked with Amanda and they set up a super special day for us with a wine and food tasting and a private table for the proposal. Every little detail from our favorite wine (Freezeland White), cute snacks, and the prettiest bouquet of flowers made it a perfect day! Great people, great wine, the best views. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Great wines, stunning views, and wonderful service. The owners are very knowledgeable and great hosts. Come for the wine but stay for the food.

It is truly one of the most beautiful wineries I have been to. The grounds were meticulously maintained, and the building itself was flawless. Service was outstanding, and the wine was spot on. Prices were very fair and reasonable

Just wrapped up one of the nicest winery visits ever!

We happened to visit on a beautiful, sunny, dry, breezy Tuesday, in August, and really enjoyed the kind/knowledgeable staff, the views, the food, and the wine. What else could you want?

Both Chardonnays are light, even the oaked one, and they have a nice range of blends, white and red, so you’ll very likely find something you like.

Warm and inviting vineyard and staff. We went on a Monday and enjoyed a peaceful afternoon of stunning Mountain Views and delicious local wine, with charcuterie. Recommend getting the guided wine tasting for a learned experience! Thanks Brian!

This is one of the best wineries in the area. The new owners are so dedicated to making great wine. My favorites are blue mountain mist, freezeland white. And oh my goodness, the freezeland red is out of this world. They just released the latest blend of the red and it's phenomenal.
The location is spot on, the view from the deck is breathtaking. And it's an easy drive right off 66 in linden, va. Such a Great place. Go support them please.btheyre wonderful people.
