This is a fun ice cream “joint” operating out of a trailer during the warm seasons. They serve Hershey’s Ice Cream (the best!) with generous scoops. The seating is at picnic tables under umbrellas. I like to take my grandson there any time I am out in Locust Grove.
It’s always nice to cool off with some ice cream on a hot summer day, and this spot hits the mark. The serving sizes were generous, and the tasty toppings made it even better. Overall, a really good experience — definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!
So excited they are back open, and they have extended hours now. I tried the new brown butter bourbon truffle and it's EVERYTHING! Will probably be the new go too, but I'm also looking forward to the new soft serve options. The whole family enjoys going here. Our 4 year old has been saying he wanted ice cream from the "post office place" for the last 2 months.
