The food is authentic using real ingredients. Chef Reina is spot on capturing the flavors of Mexico while creating dishes with fresh ingredients. Don’t be in a hurry because what we love about this place is that food is prepped fresh and served steaming hot.
I want to share the hidden gem that this place is. The food is great. The owner is so incredibly kind and inviting, and the staff is super friendly and warm. $1 Taco Tuesday roped us in and this quickly became our favorite place. I will say the service gets slow when it's busy, but it is always worth the wait. So happy to have this place in Locust Grove.
It was a wonderful time getting dinner out at El Vaquero West. The people there were so nice and prompt throughout our time there, and like every other location I’ve been to, the food was delicious!
