Absolutely amazing! Went for our 18th anniversary and we have never been happier with a tasting menu. The ambience and environment was so peaceful and lovely!

Sat outside under the tent and had an amazing experience with fresh food and amazing views. Started raining, but we could still see out and listen to the rain while we enjoyed our meal. Service was fantastic and everybody seemed to enjoy working there. Lots of fish, fresh vegetables, and tasty treats!

The most amazing dinner served by an incredible staff. Perfect setting, attentive staff, incredible ambiance. Will be back again for sure!

It is always a beautiful and delicious experience at The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm. Beverley has built a wonderful place and team. On both visits, John has led the team of servers who have guided us through our meal. Truly a special experience. We will be back.

I treated my mother and sister who were traveling from out of state. Both had an excellent time (as did my husband and I). The food was excellent and our server was great. My husband got the mocktail pairing and it was amazingly good! As always, they catered to my vegetarian diet and served up excellent alternatives to the fare everyone else was getting. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Beautiful experience! This was a favorite dining experience for us. Right up there with The Inn at Little Washington.

We have been fortunate to dine here several times over the years. Every visit we are thoroughly impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere. Our most recent dining experience may have been our favorite meal yet!

The food, in general, was very salty. It overpowered the ingredients. The flavors or each dish were too complex...I could not really taste anything outstanding. Also, the wrong dishes were used for serving... they did not enhance the presentation...but rather distracted. Overall, I found the meal to be very tasteless and disappointing.

A Truly Memorable Dining Experience We had a wonderful evening at The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm. Arriving early, we enjoyed the peaceful quiet of the dining room before the evening picked up. Since we were among the first guests, the sound from the bar—mostly from normal beverage service and glassware restocking—carried a bit more than expected. Fortunately, the instrumental music helped soften the noise, and we even had fun playing “name that tune” throughout the meal. The only minor drawback was the temperature—it was a bit warm when we arrived, as the mini-split AC units hadn't yet been turned on. Once they were, it improved, but I still found myself rolling up my sleeves to stay comfortable. That said, everything else was exceptional. The view was stunning, and the vegetarian menu was outstanding—creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One of the most innovative touches was a mocktail featuring carrots, which tied perfectly into a carrot-based dessert later in the meal. And the flaky strawberry and rhubarb dessert with vanilla yogurt? Simple, but the flavors were absolutely wow. The service was what truly set the evening apart. Our server was attentive, kind, and genuinely seemed to care. He struck the perfect balance—always there when needed, but never hovering. My wife and I even commented on how skillfully he managed that delicate dance. We never waited or went without, yet always felt relaxed and unhurried. To top it all off, the owner stopped by our table to chat, answer questions, and thank us personally—a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. From start to finish, it was a seamless and memorable experience.

This is our favorite restaurant to celebrate special occasions! It is always magical and incredibly delicious. Over the years we've done brunch, dinner, foraging in the forest, dinners for two and group events. It is the perfect place to enjoy time together and make memories. Thank you Beverly for your vision and expert management of this gem.

Do not pass up an opportunity to try this hidden gem. The food is phenomenal and the service is next to none. We will definitely be returning and telling our friends about it. The chef is a true artist. The menu is pre fixe so I won't critique each we had as it may not be available when other diners go. The menu is constantly changing with the seasons. I will say I wanted to lick my plates clean. Everything is small plates.
