Had the most incredible dining experience this evening at Patowmack Farm. Made even more delightful with the mocktail pairings, not a single course disappointed. Stunning scenery, cozy furnishings, and incredible service come together to ensure a truly unforgettable dining experience. Our server Michael did an excellent job taking care of us as well, ensuring our glasses never went empty while providing excellent (and impressively thorough) descriptions of each course as it was presented. A true gem; I can’t wait to return!

One of the most innovative, flavourful and delightful meals we've ever had. Each course was stunning in both taste and visual appeal. The owner personally saw to all the guests and the staff moved seamlessly throughout the service.

The food is very flavorful and fresh, and the service is also great. The dishes may not be cooked with pricey ingredients, but very fresh, locally grown veggies and meat. especially the mushrooms, are very delicious. A bit pricey but worth it.

We were pleasantly surprised with a sprinkle of Asian inspired in the 9 course meal we received which enhanced our entire experience! Especially, the second course hit us home with a mild kick of spicy sauce. Tireace provided the top notch service and presented every course with great explanation! And to top it off, it was a huge honor to meet the chief! Every single course tasted amazing with unique flavors complementing each other and along with our paired wine and mocktail!

The views, food and service is amazing!! We went for my birthday and around that time we had found out that I was pregnant. They were able to accommodate me with mocktail options as well as different food options that were suited for my dietary restrictions. It was a very romantic experience and we love how personalized their menu is, in terms of locally sourcing and utilizing whatever they have grown in their very own garden! My only issue was the mosquitos, we went in September and I was attacked by them. They gave me mosquito spray but by then it was too late. It would be nice if they had something for mosquitos by the tents outside.

This is the spot to go to if you want to feel that you are cared for as a customer. From first interaction to walking out the door, we were taken care of. Service from John, Stephan and Paul were top notch. Every course was explained with detail. We spoke and laughed with pastry chef Mykel too. Everyone clearly loved working there and supported the mission of the chef, restaurant and farm. We will continue to look here for not only special occasions but even other nights out.

My wife and I keep a list of favorite restaurants that we have visited. These have included great European, New York and LA restaurants. All great experiences based on food, atmosphere and service. Last evening The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm jumped onto the list upon tasting the first course and catapulted to number one by dessert. John was the best waiter we ever encountered. Friendly, interesting, incredibly knowledgeable about each course and extremely polite. The entire team was equally engaging and skilled. Chef Colby's visit to the table, as well as Pastry Chef Mykel's personal delivery of the final sweets, put the experience over the top. A special and memorable evening. This was our first visit, but definitely not the last! Bravo to Beverly Billand and her fabulous crew.

We eat here every few months and it is always a special treat! My wife is vegan, while I am not. They always accommodate and always deliver the most amazing meals - vegan and non-vegan! Simply amazing. Some of the vegan meals are just insanely delicious. My wife can't stop raving about all the unique tastes and textures, the creative mixes. And the mocktails they serve are likewise creative works of art. Highly, highly recommended.

For the amount of money this place charges it is not worth it. My wife and I’s bill was $700+ with the tip. We got the wine pairing with our dinner and that was just as bad as the meal. The restaurant poured us barely 2 sips per tasting for our pre-fixed menu. The wine itself was subpar at best. To spend $90 per wine tasting ($180) total I was expecting much better quality. Not watered down dry wines. The server we had took 20 mins to get to our table and take our first drink order. With each wine pairing he was late each time to the table to pour the wine. And not too mention, the server didn’t ask once how our experience was.The food was bland and honestly did not taste good at all. The swordfish dish was overcooked. The ribeye was very chewy. The beet sorbet and beet tart for desert was inedible. The best thing about the meal was a piece of bread they served in between courses.Again, for the price they charged this was a huge let down and a waste of money. We would have been more satisfied with our service and meal getting a burger and beer at a local bar.

I feel like holy s*** does not do this place justice. The server described it as earth to table, more than farm. The first organic farm in VA that began in 1987. The owner started making dinners 20 years ago and it grew. And she's here serving you water, picking up plates and making sure everything is as it should be. It's a labor of love. Anything they can't grow they get locally. It was not just a dinner. It was a 2.5 hour experience that started with my Brown Butter Old Fashioned. A progression menu (that was personalized no less) with things like aburi squid, grilled swordfish and whiffletree ribeye. The bread was made with a 48 year old sourdough starter the pastry chef's mom made when she was born. The menu changes every month, every season and no item is ever repeated. The service and atmosphere were impeccable, even in the heated greenhouse. When they have outdoor dining, I can't imagine. Even with the price tag, this is absolutely a place I would come back to.

Great views, food and service. The food and presentation were outstanding. The mocktail pairing was amazing too. I loved that a mocktail option was available since I'm pregnant. Loved how they incorporated many ingredients into each dish. The swordfish was cooked to perfection. The sourdough bread was delicious. Very nice and romantic experience. We love that they personalized the menu and the rose for us. The service and staff were great. The take home scone was a sweet touch. I didn't give 5 stars because it wasn't quite enough food for us. It would be enough food for people who don't eat as much as us. My husband left hungry so we stopped by roots on the way back. Wished the protein portions were larger to feel more satisfied after dinner and spending all that money.
