I should have paid more attention to the description on Google Maps (Coffee Roaster) and not just dove into the reviews prior to my visit, but this is a coffee ROASTERY. There is a customer service counter where they will take your order and make drinks, sell you beans and merchandise. There are even a few tables and seats outside under a roof. But most of the space is dedicated to producing their coffee. This is NOT a coffee shop in the sense of hang out for a few hours with a book or get out a computer and do some work. Just know that.

Fantastic place! I'm so glad that I found this coffee shop! I will definitely be back. I highly recommend. This is a real deal coffee shop. So amazing going in for a quick latte and seeing them roasting their own beans. The smell was so good. They had a screened in area that was releasing the fresh roast aroma, mixing with the early morning fall air 🫠AMAZING! I'm adding a menu photo and a directions pic (go up the little hill, in the back)!

Shelby earned this place a loyal customer. She’s friendly (genuinely), helpful and overcomes the weird unfriendly vibes of whoever the karate-pants coffee-roaster dude is. He doesn’t like to respond to friendly greetings. (It’s not so loud 10 feet from the counter that you can’t hear a customer say good morning). And the Afton location’s service can be lacking.Not only is Shelby sweet, she makes a perfect latte, which is what counts. She’ll start your day off right.
