They posted new winter hours saying they were open for breakfast until 10:30. We were turned away at 9:45. The open sign was still lit up

This place serves some great pancakes, toast, juice, coffee and tea. If you are looking for a vegetarian meal and also stay in hotel nearby. Here the waitress are always helpful and respond to each and every customer query and also give free refill of coffee too. I would recommend this place for a morning breakfast meal and also serve lunch and dinner.

The food was great here. Reasonable prices and a quaint hometown atmosphere. Tammy our waitress was nice and helpful in trying to accommodate my dairy allergy. She brought the bottle of oil they cook with to the table for me to read the ingredients and they cooked my food on a separate pan. We both didn’t realize that cheese would be on what I ordered. They did not offer to replace but apologized.

We had an excellent experience at Alexander’s! Our group of 12 stopped in for a classic breakfast before our round of golf, and everything was spot-on. The food was delicious — simple, hearty, and done right — and the coffee hit the spot. What really stood out was the service: warm, friendly, and welcoming. They made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. A perfect start to the day and a great place for a group breakfast. Highly recommended!

The waitresses were really nice and the food is delicious. I would recommend the Belgian waffle and the French toast.

Everything we ordered tasted like it was made in the microwave. The biscuits, the bacon, the potatoes. We went there for breakfast and it's not somewhere I would visit again. The server was really sweet.

My husband and I were visiting Luray for a few days. We wanted a simple but good breakfast. And Alexander's delivered. My husband had the Belgian waffle & bacon and said it was great. I just had eggs, scrapple, and a biscuit. Again, simple. But we'll done. The scrapple was perfectly crisp on the outside and still soft in the middle. The decor was is so charming. We loved the mismatched dishes. But the best thing was the service. We unfortunately didn't get the name of the lady who sat us, but she was very welcoming. And we can't say enough about our server Tammy. She was fast, attentive, funny, and polite without being stiff. And we found a great place for dinner from her recommendation. We definitely recommend for people visiting Luray.

We had veggies omelette and a pancake… 4 stars for the food, liked it. However, I am a muslim and they had ham in a veggie omelette (!!) which I had to return even though I specifically asked for a veggie omelette with no pork. So 1 star for the service for mixing up my order and serving ham to a muslim customer.

Closed before posted time, very disappointing because the restaurant came highly recommended.

Great food. Very nice waitress. Would go back again.

My potatoes were not fully cooked, hard to chew.

Buscuit was "okay", not made on site.

Not a place we would go back to.
