“I’ll bite is this an Asian restaurant or a Cracker Barrel. Turns out Asian food in a great atmosphere. If you are in the area and need a taste of Asian cuisine this is a great stop with some indoor seating and picnic tables outside. I went with two kids we ordered noodles, sushi, and a rice dish. Everything turned out great. We had a bonus train zip by reminding us why this is the Asian Station.

Vegetarian options: I did not order vegetarian but the veggies that came with the noodles and our chicken dish were healthy portions leading me to believe any option they give for a vegetarian option would likely be good.

Kid-friendliness: If your kids like Asian food this will be a great place to go with them.”

“What a great breakfast! Charming dinning room. Also, can eat out on the porch with views of the mountains. The service was exceptional! Friendly, efficient and attentive. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Large menu to choose from. Nice selection of tea to choose from. Great as tea drinkers are often overlooked in restaurants. We had a great breakfast experience! Highly recommend.”

“We pulled into Luray on Friday night, April 19th, 2024. We stopped in at Jess's Main Street Bar and Grill. I ordered the spaghetti dinner with salad. It was very good from being on a trip from Gallatin, Tennessee, that morning. The waitress that evening was so nice and the food was wonderful! Thank you to the ownership and staff for making the first night in Luray much more comfortable away from home, Gallatin, Tennessee. Gallatin is too close to Nashville and has a population of nearly 49,000 people. It's not the little town it once was. Luray gives the smaller town feeling with fantastic restaurants like Jess's Main Street Bar and Grill. I highly recommend it!”

“Excellent food, highly highly recommend going here. This place is like going to food lion and they have a really good deal on a couple of thick ribeyes. The people here are great, the police that dine here are friendly, we've dined in a couple times and we've always been happy with portion sizes, taste and staff. Only complaint is the tiramisu is frozen and they didn't warn me the first time, but it's fine I just take it home with me now and let it thaw enough before I dig in. And even then it's like the best tiramisu I've had.”

“Lovely place. Ice cream is best in the area. Their brownie sundae is my favorite thing and I get it every time I go. They forgot my extra sprinkles one time, but I can't fault them because they get so busy sometimes. So I had a small moment of mourning for my missing sprinkles but moved on because I'm not a child, I'm just autistic.

Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. I don't have kids but I'm basically a child so it kinda counts.”

Im still snacking on the loaf (carbs I don’t need) but it’s too good not to. 100% recommend and can’t wait to visit again!”

“Reviews Jellystone Luray was a great trip with our family of three with an almost 3 year old (and two dogs). We booked this trip because it was kid-centered and only a 30 minute drive. It ended up becoming a favorite vacation of ours and one we will continue to book. We stayed in a Premium Loft Cabin (with the oven and screened in porch options). I am more of a “glamping” person than a rough it person and this was a great option! It was a great amount of space (we used the loft as a play area). I can see it feeling cramped if there were more adults that joined our trip. Things we loved: Golf cart rental. It’s hard to tell from Google maps and pictures, but our cabin was at the top of a big hill and at least a minute’s ride to and from the pools (easily a 20 minute walk with a toddler). The golf cart definitely made the trips to and from the cabin possible. Splash pad. My toddler loved the splash pad options and little “bubbler pool” while the adults had a blast in with the water slides. Great options for all ages. (I do wish the pool hours began earlier, however) Different activities. When we needed a break from the pool, there were plenty of activities to keep us busy. The glitter tattoos were a big hit (and surprisingly lasted 3-4 days) as well as the play grounds. My toddler became really interested in Yogi after seeing him at Gem Mining. We were able to book a bedtime story last minute and the staff really delivered a great time! It ended up being just us, and it was a highlight of our trip. Our little was starstruck by Boo Boo Bear. Screened in Porch: this added so much extra living space to the cabin. The ceiling fan and lack of mosquitos was perfect and will always be something we book moving forward. Where there were some cracks: We visited in mid-July, the middle of peak season, and it was apparent in the smaller details. Our checkin time was delayed by 90 minutes and the cabin floor was very dirty (as in needed to be moped but was swept clean) but these are small things in the grand scheme of our trip. (Every staff member we saw was extremely kind and working very hard; these things are just par for the course in my opinion). Things I wish we would have brought: Walkie Talkies (Verizon service was nonexistent and WiFi was decent only around the ranger station) Over the door towel rack (bathroom had one very small towel bar) More decorations for our golf cart/campsite. It was so fun to see other sites go all out with the Christmas in July theme. It was a highlight of my toddler’s to drive around in the golf cart to look at the decorations. Overall, I came into this trip with no expectations and left knowing this will be a new yearly tradition for our family! The views are picturesque, there was always something to do and the lack of cell services really allowed us to disconnect and enjoy each other’s company.”
