We saw a concert, the venue is not suited for music ( an old bank). Sound echoes. The staff was great and the crowd was very much a part of the event.
One of the best live performance venues in northern VA. Small audience setting with some fantastic musicians, plays and other events. Always keeping an eye on who's coming next. Highly recommend if you're in Luray for the evening or weekend
I've enjoyed every show we've gone to at the Performing Arts Center. Would like better bar variety and maybe snacks. It would be great if they hooked up with Valley Cork to offer some small food choices but otherwise it is a nice place!
Great music, wonderful time.
I attended a Gaelic concert performed by Iona over the weekend in scenic Luray, Virginia. This Center for the Performing Arts is smack in the middle of Main Street and Broad Street which is the center of town and accessible to everything in this small town. The Center staff was very accommodating and helpful. The building is the former location of a bank from several years ago and there is still a large bank vault in the building which serves as a bar. The concert band was great and the facility was packed with locals and some who had driven a ways to see this group. If you are in Luray at any time during the year please check the show schedule for the Center for Performing Arts and take in a show there. You will not regret it!
Variety of events throughout the year, including local talent and touring artists. Comedy, live music, plays, concerts, and more! Love that it’s a centerpiece in downtown.
Great events! Worth a stop if you’re in town.
