We were suppose to spend a week here but 3 days into put our trip, I was racially profiled by senior man, who was driving a ranger cart collecting garbage from sites. Will never return or recommend especially if you are a POC. Shame on you especially being a yogi bear campground. We cut our trip short and left early

We visited Luray Jellystone for the first time this August. We loved the location and the campground. We visited the Luray Caverns and the Shenandoah National Park (both must dos). The amenities at the campground are wonderful! The older kids loved the slides and our youngest loved the pool and splash area. They loved the zipline (one was broken), the paddle boats, playgrounds and sand volleyball court. Everything is well kept. The staff are the best we've had this summer. Everyone was so friendly. My only disappointments were the candy bar bingo and the amount of activities. Most of the activities cost extra money. We were bummed that they only showed 1 movie in the 4 days we were there and they have a great outdoor movie setup. Candy bar bingo was the most expensive we've been to out of all of our camping trips. Then you only won one candy bar per game (never had this be the case), and they saved soooo many for the last game. They should definitely be spread out more and still have a big winner at the end like all of the other campgrounds do (including other Jellystones). It would've just been nice to see a few more activities that didn't cost extra money, since that is usually one of the highlights of Jellystone campgrounds.

This place is not cheap so with that being said why are the pool chairs dry Rotton, bathroom needs repairs and cleaned more often. The paddle lake filter systems need repaired so much algae that you do not want to put your feet in the water! Fish floating up dead! They cut off the water AGAIN... for more than 4 hours, which made packing and cleaning up so much worse! They lost power on one of the hottest days! Invest in your property because my grandchildren love this place until you do have to take you off my list.

My family have stayed at the park many times and have enjoyed it. This last visit was a little different. FIrst off, we find out that we were bumped sites because I did not pay the site lock fee. I think this is a direct money grab. The price of the stay was over $330 to begin with not including the gas to get there. To pay an additional site lock fee is uncalled for. When you book the site in the first place you chose the site you want, why should you have to pay more to prove you really want that site ? On Saturday a tree came down and hit a powerline to knock out power to the campground. It was in the upper 90's which made for some hot camping. The campground did a good job and had Dominion out to fix the problem in about 3 hours. Woke up Sunday morning with no water in the campground. Not sure what the problem was but made it tough packing up. Lets hope they get the problems fixed.

Had an awesome time the campsite tho wasn't the best it was supposed to have cable hook up but it didn't and there is poison oak all around the site other than that the place is well maintained the bath houses are super clean

We stayed at a skyline cabin. For rustic lodging, it was not cheap. What we were not expecting was almost no utensils (no glasses, mixing bowl, pot, spatula, most of the basics), the blinds had a huge whole in them, the window air conditioner shut down because the filter was clogged with who knows what. Someone told us the place was under new management which explained the prices doubling. On the positive note, the maintenance crew was fast and efficient and took care of things quickly. Our daughter loved all the activities: pool, water slide, bounce bubble, paddle boats, zip line, etc. For the money, we wouldn’t go back to stay in the cabins. But ended up being a fun weekend.

Reviews Jellystone Luray was a great trip with our family of three with an almost 3 year old (and two dogs). We booked this trip because it was kid-centered and only a 30 minute drive. It ended up becoming a favorite vacation of ours and one we will continue to book. We stayed in a Premium Loft Cabin (with the oven and screened in porch options). I am more of a “glamping” person than a rough it person and this was a great option! It was a great amount of space (we used the loft as a play area). I can see it feeling cramped if there were more adults that joined our trip. Things we loved: Golf cart rental. It’s hard to tell from Google maps and pictures, but our cabin was at the top of a big hill and at least a minute’s ride to and from the pools (easily a 20 minute walk with a toddler). The golf cart definitely made the trips to and from the cabin possible. Splash pad. My toddler loved the splash pad options and little “bubbler pool” while the adults had a blast in with the water slides. Great options for all ages. (I do wish the pool hours began earlier, however) Different activities. When we needed a break from the pool, there were plenty of activities to keep us busy. The glitter tattoos were a big hit (and surprisingly lasted 3-4 days) as well as the play grounds. My toddler became really interested in Yogi after seeing him at Gem Mining. We were able to book a bedtime story last minute and the staff really delivered a great time! It ended up being just us, and it was a highlight of our trip. Our little was starstruck by Boo Boo Bear. Screened in Porch: this added so much extra living space to the cabin. The ceiling fan and lack of mosquitos was perfect and will always be something we book moving forward. Where there were some cracks: We visited in mid-July, the middle of peak season, and it was apparent in the smaller details. Our checkin time was delayed by 90 minutes and the cabin floor was very dirty (as in needed to be moped but was swept clean) but these are small things in the grand scheme of our trip. (Every staff member we saw was extremely kind and working very hard; these things are just par for the course in my opinion). Things I wish we would have brought: Walkie Talkies (Verizon service was nonexistent and WiFi was decent only around the ranger station) Over the door towel rack (bathroom had one very small towel bar) More decorations for our golf cart/campsite. It was so fun to see other sites go all out with the Christmas in July theme. It was a highlight of my toddler’s to drive around in the golf cart to look at the decorations. Overall, I came into this trip with no expectations and left knowing this will be a new yearly tradition for our family! The views are picturesque, there was always something to do and the lack of cell services really allowed us to disconnect and enjoy each other’s company.

Aside from the fact that the front desk “ladies” are rude, lazy, dirty/un kept looking, and eating while we were trying to check in, the pools are dirty. Their were bandaids, TP, a women's bathing suit sanitary liner, and other trash lying around pool side. They don’t have staff changing trash or cleaning. The chairs by the pool are so old and dry rotted. It’s gross! The grass was grown up and the put put golf area is run down. The day pass for 2 adults and 2 children was 160.00. So not worth it. Go to Massanutten Water Park it is so much better.

Been going for over 25 years which had always been wonderful with improvements every year. Now under new management and you can see the difference. Many outdoor staff are unfriendly. Also, one of the pool levels was so low it didn’t even make it to the skimmers. The activities aren’t what they used to be either.

Love our time at Yogi Bear! Nothing is better than this beautiful view of the outdoors and so much fun activities for the kids! My kids always look forward to our yearly trip! Cabins are awesome and clean!

Halloween at Yogi in Luray is amazing!! Fun for our entire family. We can't wait to get there every year and all of us (my family and all of the friends we've made at the campground) book our stay for the following year on our way out. So many decorations-everyone goes all out, so much for the kids to do (haunted trail, pumpkin decorating, costume contest and the most amazing trick or treating)-it is literally at the very top of our favorite things to do!

Love the comfort of this Jellystone. It's spread out, but everything is within walking distance. We frequent this property at least twice a year. There is so much to do, Hey-Hey wagon rides, awesome splash pad for the little ones, pools (yes, plural, a total of 3), water slides (double tubes if you want to go with your kid), Hershey's ice cream (not found everywhere), crafts, playgrounds, huge lawn area (so bring a kite or drone), doggie playgrounds, arcade, nightly outside movies, beautiful views and let's not forget where is it located....Luray, Virginia. Some fabulous caverns to enjoy, right next door is zip lining, close to Winchester (Apple Blossom festival first weekend in May & rich in American History), close to DC as well. But the best is the time spent doing the scheduled themed activities, to sit down with the kids, no electronics, if we have the energy!

This is a fabulous place to go around Halloween! Everyone dresses up and the big campers have big productions and everyone passes out candy. It is so much fun for the kids! Lovely place for the weekend! We went with 6 other families and were able to book cabins close to each other. We had the bathrooms in the cabin which was nice.
