We enjoyed our visit on a quiet Saturday. The spirits were quite good and they had a lot of variety for a self guided flight and an expansive menu of cocktails and mock tails. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We didn't try the food truck but the food looked and smelled delicious.

Phenomenal find! After hiking in Shenandoah, we stopped by to grab burgers (which were delicious) and then were blown away by the cocktails they had. We’re used to DC and Alexandria speakeasy cocktails and the ones here were every bit as good if not better, and in a much cooler atmosphere.
Plus, they’re dog people!

Blueberry Chocolate Lemonade (w/Bourbon) and the Golden Doodle (w/vodka) were both excellent. Grabbed a couple of drinks and also lunch from the Blue Dog food truck. Lovely spot for drinks and food.

Delicious nano distillery. Rye, bourbon, vodka, gin, all made on premises from a farm located basically down the road. Rotating craft cocktails are amazing. Plus, Blue Dog Bowl food truck on premises with hand made burgers and fries. The best!

Blue Shepherd has a great thing going! Their staff is awesome and the drinks are amazing. It is so awesome seeing a small town supporting this supperior distillery provided by only what a veteran and first responder can. I will be putting the word out, we've got a ton of veterans looking for superior micro distilled spirits, and this is it!
