Food was well prepared. The service was very good. In fact I ordered the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The skin was crisp and the meat was moist. I ordered the roasted mushrooms. Those weren't quite as good.

As always, a great meal with great service. We always enjoy going to the Chop House Bistro.

As always, Chop House Bistro delivered a great experience! We were celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary and Chop House didn't disappoint! Our server, Missy, was excellent and the food was outstanding!

Cute restaurant in an adorable house on the main road in Luray. Very friendly service. We ordered the sirloin and salmon and each of us had the killer mashed potatoes. Highly recommend the horseradish sauce. We were provided with an extra round of their honey, salted focaccia—omg so good! Also—awesome dirty martini!

Lovely dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant acknowledged our special occasion, which was nice. I included my dietary restrictions in the reservation but it seemed the server didn't know or wasn't sure what to do with it. We still had a wonderful dinner

We had a great time sitting on the porch and watching the sunset while eating!!! Our server, Essence, was so sweet! Food was delicious. Thank you!

An excellent choice for nearly everything. This stop will not disappoint in the cute town of Luray. What looks like a house encompasses amazing food and drinks. Highly suggest a reservation for here! I love the simplified and short menu of what this place has to offer. I hate having a literal book of options where instead you can handpick what this place does great. The cocktails were absolutely amazing and you certainly can't go wrong with any choices here. The chicken wings and crab dip were also fantastic and both options are one that you wouldn't expect a town in Western Virginia to do great but they manage to do it very well. The main course options also in it's entirety are perfect from A to Z. The salmon, the filet mignon, scallops, and more are just all perfect choices. You seriously can't go wrong with any of these choices. The dessert was good, but to be honest not as spectacular as everything that lead up to the dessert. Again, not that it wasn't bad but wasn't up to par with everything else presented on the table. All in all, whether you're visiting, passing through, date night, or some sort of special occasion, you absolutely can't go wrong with this place.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! EVERYTHING we had was delicious. We had steaks, catfish, crab dip and wings.

The atmosphere and service was excellent.

We went for lunch and recommended sticking with the burgers. The other lunch offerings were tasty, but not particularly visually appealing. I can see the potential here for a much nicer dinner experience. I was surprised at how loud it was, they might want to invest in some sound-dampening decor.

This is likely the best restaurant in Luray. It is very attractively located in a restored home on Main St. The tables and decor are minimalist, but sophisticated and inviting. Our drinks were excellent, and we were pleased to see a Hemmingway daiquiri on the cocktail menu. We had an excellent cabbage and potato soup, a salad with very fresh local greens, and a ribeye steak that was flavorful, but with more fat and gristle than normal. The duck fat fries were warm, but not hot. All told, we would certainly go back and explore the apps and other entrées.

If you want a steak in Luray and you aren't grilling it yourself, come here. Full stop. Terrific food, every dish, and every bite. Our server, Missy, helped make our special family evening wonderful. We were delighted to hear of the locality and provenance of our food, and many tips and insights into local culture and hot spots for family fun.

We over-ordered. Too much food, but it was all delicious, starting with the warm, fresh baked and lightly salted bread. Definitely would go back and recommend you give it a try, too.

The Chop House Bistro Georgia midfielder in Luray, Virginia, far surpassed our expectations. I wanted to take my wife out for a nice anniversary dinner and this completely went above and beyond our expectations. We were greeted with a happy anniversary gesture at the front desk, along with a card at our table. This was a very nice touch. Our meal was perfection. The whole experience was outstanding. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that we had an excellent experience. We shall return.

What a wonderful little restaurant in downtown Luray. We showed up without reservations, but found two seats at the bar. Service was quick and efficient and the food was quite tasty. I had a seasonal salad. My husband had the fillet. Both were quite delicious!
We’ll definitely stop again the next time we’re in town.
