This is a gas station but.....The food is wonderful here. My kids could eat the butter chicken every day.

I love delicious fare in unsuspecting locations and was thrilled to find Indian food in Luray. They have a well priced, everyday curry special - but my suggestion is to venture off and try other menu favorites. We had the butter chicken, chicken dumplings, naan and a kidney bean dish that was recommended and fantastic. Zero complaints!

Outstanding! Seriously, when we read other reviews about how good this place is, we were a little doubtful. How good can gas station food be, we said. Well, this happened to be the best Indian takeout we’ve ever had, from anywhere. Portions were very generous for a reasonable price and they were super friendly. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Amazing food, great service and a sweet owner! Who knew?!?! Some of the best indian food I've had, out of a gas station!!!

Yelp delivers again! Tried this place based on the 5 star reviews. We found this place after visiting Luray Caverns. Food did not disappoint. Very unique setting - the food is served by a nice, sweet lady who handles the cash register at a gas station and multitasks cooking delicious food. Must try in the area and looking for great Indian food and the ambience doesn't really matter.

We stopped by before going to Shenandoah, and this place was bustling with locals. The couple who runs this place is amazing. We tried the momos, samosas, red hot chicken, garlic naan. Everything was so flavorful! The red hot chicken was REALLY hot we had to order another garlic naan to eat more. It comes with cumin rice. There are 2 tables for dine in and one bathroom btw.

Surprisingly good and homely food. We came back the next day for more. We loved their momos, the food platter, lamb curry, chicken curry, and chilli chicken. The gulab jamuns were melt in the mouth.

This was one of the best places we ate at when we visited Luray. Even though not all of their menu is available, the food is really tasty after some long hikes, and the person managing the whole place was helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend. We tried: Chicken Momos Butter Chicken - the sauce was delicious Turmeric Rice - this was really tasty Samosas Palak Matar Eggplant Curry Garlic Naan

We were traveling to Shenandoah national park and got a hard time finding vegetarian options at their restaurants. Visited Luray caverns and found this place for Indian food. Awesome food, just like home cooked. Best naan I had in US so far. ❤️

This place was recommended to us by a local on the other side of town. They told us that it was the 'Best Indian food' so we had to try it. We were NOT disappointed!Look past the fact that they are located in a Liberty Gas Station...just go inside and you will smell the Curry. We talked with the lady and explained we were looking for authentic Indian food and the spice that is naturally part of that. 'Not a problem...do you want Naan with that?' she replied. We ordered up two chicken curry, some Naan, and Samosa. She cooked it up fresh for us. It was delicious! They have an extended menu on long weekends and can do large orders for parties .Thank you Hannah for the recommendation!#NomNomNom #BirdLife #OwlsTweetVegetarian options: Chana Masala is just one option for vegetariansParking: Easily accessible

Me & my better half eat out fairly regularly. We were probably food critics in a past life even. She would have been the nice kind, me not so much. I'm a diva.Anyway, after hiking we are looking for food on our way home. I'm beyond skeptical. It's in a GAS STATION!! The guy is authentic. He should open a restaurant across the street from our house. I have never had Indian/Nepalese food this good. We bought our entire order over again to take home with us.Go out of your way. It's so friggin worth it.

Fantastic roadside food in an unassuming minimart! The lovely couple running the restaurant made one of the finest meals we've had in that part of Virginia. They were completely flavorful and were clearly made with fresh ingredients. We particularly enjoyed the eggplant and veggie curries. That said, nothing was substandard. 100% good. We'll be back.

This is the Shenandoah Valley, and we live in an area with excellent Indian food. That said this was a VERY welcome meal away from our campsite at Big Meadows. I am vegan and Luray offered little that I could eat so very thankful that we found this place. The veg curry and channa masala with rice were very nice. The momos were good (I don't think we got a homemade batch) and the homemade dipping sauce was very nice. It was very entertaining to sit in one of the two booths to watch the people come and go from here. The proprietor was friendly and the meal was good value. Happy to support this business!

My husband and I are by no means experts on Indian food, but we didn't have to be to know this food was delicious. We are staying in Luray, but adventuring in Shenandoah and wanted something quick to take back up to the mountain to catch a sunset. We found this place on yelp. We decided to step outside our comfort zone. I'm so glad we did. We had butter chicken, momo, somosas, naan, and a mango lassi. Next time I'll go for the chicken tika because I would've liked a bit more spice, but the butter chicken was perfect for my husband. We waited about 10 minutes for our food, but the very kind proprietor told us it was because she was making the momo fresh.

Don't be thrown by the gas station atmosphere! This is some of the best, most authentic Indian food I've ever had. The Tikka Masala was spicy and DELICIOUS! They were out of butter chicken, which only tells me it's incredibly popular with the locals. If you're looking for something a little different from burgers and sandwiches, you HAVE to try this incredible food.
