It was good but I didn't remember it tastings like the chili in Harrisonburg but it might just be me. Service was very good, I'll try it again.

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat because not only do they have affordable options, but their employees truly care about customer satisfaction..It shows in every aspect, from preparation time down to personal interactions with guests like myself who come back on a regular basis just so we can enjoy some great tasting meals while feeling valued as customers..Chicken tenders always hot n fresh! My favorite club sandwich here!

I really like the food here, but I usually call in an order and pick up through the drive through. My only thing that I don’t like about the drive though is i call in my order instead of ordering at the window. I don’t think you should be aloud to order at the window and if you do order at the window then you should be made to move forward or park until your food is ready. I’ve waited 35 minutes for my food at the drive through plus the time I called so about 45mins because of other people ordering at the window. Call in your order then pick up. Just a thought. Thanks.

We were surprised to find out another Jess’ is open in Luray as I visited my daughter who moved to Stanley recently. She ordered a couple chili dogs with cheese & the cheese slices were used instead of sauce & they were barely melted. That was a disappointment. Other food was good. Although a bit over priced for the quality. Server was friendly.

Stopped here for takeout lunch. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was very appropriate small town diner. The double cheese burger was meaty & solid... feels like it might actually be homemade. Sadly though, the coleslaw was VERY finely shredded and absolutely swimming in sugary mayonnaise soup. Pretty gross. Definitely would not order the coleslaw again but likely would return for a burger and fries

Our meal was good, steak and cheese with two hot dogs. Good flavor. Service was nice, developed a nice conversation with her and just relaxing with quiet music in background.

We had Stephanie as a waitress, she took our order and said I'll be right back with your drinks, after 15 minutes she brought our food and had to go back and get our drinks. Never came back to bring our check so we went up to pay and she was talking to someone else and turned and walked away and went in the kitchen while we were standing there to pay. After another 5 or so minutes we told another employee that we would like to pay and leave, so she went and told her that we wanted to leave now. She finally came back and took our money. Don't think we will ever go back.

Service was excellent and the waitress was very nice. Homey atmosphere. Appears to be a popular place in the community as everyone seemed to know each other.As far as the food goes, it’s primarily burgers. We tried Gus’ Burger and the cheeseburger. Nothing to write home about but suited our need for not-fast-food and a break from our road trip. I wouldn’t call this place a bar. They have a few beers that come in cans. No taps that I could see.
