Love our time at Yogi Bear! Nothing is better than this beautiful view of the outdoors and so much fun activities for the kids! My kids always look forward to our yearly trip! Cabins are awesome and clean!

Halloween at Yogi in Luray is amazing!! Fun for our entire family. We can't wait to get there every year and all of us (my family and all of the friends we've made at the campground) book our stay for the following year on our way out. So many decorations-everyone goes all out, so much for the kids to do (haunted trail, pumpkin decorating, costume contest and the most amazing trick or treating)-it is literally at the very top of our favorite things to do!

Love the comfort of this Jellystone. It's spread out, but everything is within walking distance. We frequent this property at least twice a year. There is so much to do, Hey-Hey wagon rides, awesome splash pad for the little ones, pools (yes, plural, a total of 3), water slides (double tubes if you want to go with your kid), Hershey's ice cream (not found everywhere), crafts, playgrounds, huge lawn area (so bring a kite or drone), doggie playgrounds, arcade, nightly outside movies, beautiful views and let's not forget where is it located....Luray, Virginia. Some fabulous caverns to enjoy, right next door is zip lining, close to Winchester (Apple Blossom festival first weekend in May & rich in American History), close to DC as well. But the best is the time spent doing the scheduled themed activities, to sit down with the kids, no electronics, if we have the energy!

This is a fabulous place to go around Halloween! Everyone dresses up and the big campers have big productions and everyone passes out candy. It is so much fun for the kids! Lovely place for the weekend! We went with 6 other families and were able to book cabins close to each other. We had the bathrooms in the cabin which was nice.

I stayed in a "premium cottage" for 2 nights with a heating unit that was broken & they knew this when they gave me the keys. When I arrived at my "cottage, " it was 94 degrees; because they had had 2 space heaters blasting before I arrived. Some time during the night or early morning a fuse blew & I was not able to use the lights on the front porch, in the living room , or in the kitchen. One space heater also stopped working. Because it was 94 degrees the night I arrived, I had to open the front door & leave it open for an hour for it to cool off. When I woke up the next morning it was 55 degrees in the "cottage." No one offered me a different "cottage" or cabin to stay in, even though it appeared there were many available. I was also discouraged from asking maintenance to come look at it. I asked about maintenance coming to look at it, but they never sent anyone to come and try to fix it.

I have stayed at Jellystone Resorts for years, Never did I pay the lock fee and frankly, it's embarrassing and a money grabbing option that they should really get rid of. When people spend this much money and book cabins, give them the one that was available that they picked. Charge everyone $25 more if you have to but don't make it an option. This location is the only one that ever moved us after our notes to be together for this annual trip. I will never spend a dime on Jellystone again, and that's a shame since I just got upgraded in status.

Stayed in a comfort cabin the zip line. Everything was fine except the fruit trees at the cabin. Destroyed my car and makes for a slippery tripping hazard that gets tracked inside the cabin and inside the car. Like walking on ice from the car parking area to the steps. Plus they stink like dog p**** Had to clean our shoes over and over. Ew

What great fun in October with the Halloween festivities! Stayed here with a 4 y.o and a toddler. They had a blast!. We were booked into one of the newer cabins, which was lovely. But almost zero internet and spotty cell service (Verizon). A few bug encounters, but that is to be expected in the out of doors. Biting gnats we're a bit of a nuisance, so bring the bug spray! We had a few issues with the cabin at check-in and maintenance was quick to respond. We used both heater and air-conditioning in the same week and both worked great. We enjoyed the playground, the bounce pillows, zip line, sand pit (aka beach volley ball court), and putt putt. But the most fun was the Halloween activities, including cabin decorating and trick or treating. People went all-out and made the weekend super fun.

It was a decent place to pull the camper into and grateful we had bathrooms in our rig instead of having to use theirs. Reserve a golf cart as soon as you can because what isn’t broken is rented out and there seemed to be more broken than rented. I gave this a 4 instead of a 3 because the pool area was so nice to lounge by. The views from the pool were gorgeous! The parks were fun for my 13 year old to play on as well! Gift shop was nice to walk thru and they had a decent selection of snacks and incidentals too.

Lack of security. We were is site 15 and on Friday night at 1046 our 5th wheel was almost hit by two kids driving a golf cart that they lost control. They missed the 5th wheel by about 1ft and 1/2 but completely took out our 600 satellite system that was sitting beside our electricity. We chaced them but could not catch them. The ditched the golf cart #10 and ran. Things like this make people stay away and thank God there was no little kids in the way.

This used to be a nice Family friendly place. A Corporation bought them out and they went downhill soon after. The Staff doesn’t care and it’s obvious they’re pretty much just there for a paycheck. The old staff, prior to the Corporation buy-out was great. No one is on-duty at the ‘Ranger Station’ at the entrance and a ranger was not to be seen patrolling the campground, even on crowded holiday weekends. Barking dogs, loud inconsiderate campers making lots of noise past the ‘quiet time’ of 11pm and no enforcement. The Pool and Slide are nice, but the putt-putt is a neglected older area that hasn’t been renovated in forever. The last straw was when a few neighboring camp sites had things STOLEN. If you’re camping at what is supposed to be a ‘Family Friendly Resort’ and paying top dollar for the privilege, the last thing you want to deal with is having to worry about someone stealing from you in the middle of the night and having to lock everything up if you leave the camp site even for a minute. – It’s a real shame too, because the Luray area is beautiful and there is a lot to do nearby with the Shenandoah national park just minutes away. Unfortunately, We will look elsewhere. Camp Luray is no longer an option.

My bike was stolen overnight at this campground. I’ve been camping my entire life and never had anything stolen. The staff did nothing to help the situation, dispute having cameras on the grounds. When I talked to other campers, they heard that things were previously stolen prior weekends as well. We drove around looking for it and saw nothing - made me wonder if it was staff or someone else who knew the area. Stay somewhere else that doesn’t have this problem.

Great place lots to do, downside this campground is getting way to expensive that's a shame. It's really to bad because there are lots of people who are getting priced out of camping here. Hope they can do some adjusting on those prices

Frankly, this experience was unremarkable. Can’t figure out why this hotdog is famous. Would not go back. Congratulations Nathan’s, you’ve received my first truly bad review.
