We walked I around lunch. No one acknowledged we were there and didn’t know if we needed to seat ourselves or what. The fact that they offered a good salad bar sold me but the dressings were all in packets and they had only plastic ware to eat with.I really didn’t understand the menu since the sale bar wasn’t on it, and a lot of items we saw online on Google reviews weren’t available for some reason.Others waking in seemed as lost as we were. Mt glass of wine was okay, and I didn’t want to pay $25 for a flight of wines to try, as I only like a couple types. The cheeses on the charcuterie board didn’t have much taste. Overall if your goal is to drink wine or sample some, and you like salad or sandwiches then it’s okay.

The food was terrible. Limited selection of pre prepared items, nothing seemed fresh. I ordered their burger. The patty was the size of a slider served on an oversized frozen bun for $15.

The staff were wonderful, tremendous service by kind people. The local wine selection is wonderful although a bit more expensive than we expected. The food was fantastic! We will definitely go back when we return to Loray!

The absolute best place to eat in the Stanley/ Luray area. They take a lot of pride in what they prepare, even the packaging shows more effort than most other restaurants or food chains. Eat ther, and you will enjoy everything they have. My Favorite ?

We had an amazing experience at The Valley Cork! We were in Luray for the weekend and stopped by on a Saturday shortly after they opened. We were bummed when we arrived to a sign that they were only doing take out that evening due to limited staff. The owner saw us peeking through the window and allowed us to come in to the empty restaurant for wine and a cheeseboard! Everything was delicious and the owner was absolutely lovely to talk to. Our time at the Valley Cork was one of the highlights of our trip! Their dinner options also looked delicious, would definitely recommend!

Visiting Shenandoah National park and we found this place on google maps. It was a Friday and they’re having a Trivia night! We had so much fun! We had awesome drinks (wine and cider). Also we had the opportunity to meet and talk with the owner and she was really nice and friendly with us!

Being a younger couple we were not taken seriously for service and an older table’s order was taken first (came way after us) and we were left waiting awhile for food and drinks. Service was some of the worst my husband and I have had but the food and drinks were great. Do not judge a book by its cover.

Used to be a 'must visit' spot when we came to Luray. They're clearly hurting. Our $100 meal was served with plasticware and paper plates - and food options were extremely limited. The dining room was practically empty, when in the past it was always packed at dinnertime. There was a single server for all tables, who worked as the host, server, bartender, and cashier. Bathroom was not clean. Sadly, we won't come back.

I was greeting coming in but was told to “go to the table over there” when we got to the table and waited a couple minutes we still had no menus, meanwhile another table got seated with menus right away. We had to go up to the front to pick up our own menus while waitresses walked past us. No communication whatsoever or acknowledgment. Not welcoming nor would i recommend.

Me and my friends went here to get food and wine, the waiter who greeted us did not even seat us to a table, he pointed where to go and didn't even give us menus. It took a few minutes before one of us decided to walk up and get us our own menus with several workers watching us grab menus ourselves. Nobody said anything to any of us and the server even sat and gave menus to a table that came in after us. We decided to leave after seeing that and someone apologized for them not being able to get to us because they were "busy," which was not true as there were several open tables when we walked in.

barely greeted us, didn't walk us to our table, never gave us menus I had to get up and get them, then as we decided to leave they wanted to apologize for not getting to us because they are "busy". as we watched them service another table that just got there. not welcoming or kind would not recommend.

Wanting to grab dinner at Valley Cork. We normally go here when we are in town. Checked the site and said they were open until 10pm. Got there at 8:15 and they were closed! Frustrating when places don't keep posted hours, especially when there is not many other choices.

We had my bridal shower at the cork. They did a wonderful job decorating and having a grazing table set up when trying to clean up they denied our help and made the whole experience so enjoyable if I could give 10 stars I would.

Very disappointed the pretzels came with NACHO cheese. The hummus came with onion garlic crackers. And the charcuterie board came with slim Jim's.

The Cork is a valley gem! The salad bar is always top notch, and the rest of the menu is excellent as well. Friendly service, and a tasteful, casual atmosphere make the cork a great place to grab a meal, or just have a drink.
