Service is definitely over the top in a good way. The staff really tries hard to take care of their patrons. Food is pretty good, nothing super extraordinary. However, for the price you can't beat it. Beer selection is obviously extensive, but a lot of it is canned or bottled which is fine because they serve everything nice and cold. Overall I think Beer 88 is a great spot in Wyndhurst for some good food and drink. Props to the servers.

My wife and I have been going to Beer 88 for several years now, and out of all the times we have been I do not believe we have ever left dissatisfied with the food or service. We tell anybody we know or meet in Lynchburg that is looking for a good meal to come and check them out! Even going out on a limb and trying some of the wilder burgers, like the Gurburger, have always been outstanding! I had a great first experience at Beer 88 today! Cassidy was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and she also gave us great service! I had the bacon cheese fries and Smoking Gun burger - both were delicious! I will definitely be back.
