Been coming here for years. Hotdogs are the best thing they have, burgers are good too. Toasted buns, great fries, and a classic “dive” feel. The place is riddled with old antique license plates and photos and trinkets from all kinds of visitors. Definitely a Lynchburg staple and something you cannot skip.
Mainly posting this because I’ve been here a few times and live in the area. I see a review complaining about parking issues which is just not a real issue. This place does not have a parking lot but it’s on a street with always available free street parking that is never full. So any parking issues you experience are very much self imposed. You may need to park a block or two away and walk a few hundred feet. It won’t hurt you lol
So…six of is walked into this place for dinner. Imagine National Lampoons Vacation meets hole in a wall bar, pool table cracking, tattoos and beer, dark and rather homie. I am thinking “crap, we made a huge mistake” bringing our three kids, along with my wife and mother in law. Place looks rough….BUT the owner, who was actually short staffed, is an absolute gentleman. People here actually welcomed us, no one batted an eye. My 7 year old thought it was the COOLEST place...
