One of the dopest little dive bars I've ever had the pleasure of eating at. The Cavalier is very far from pretentious & they're very straightforward about what it is they serve. Menu prices feel almost vintage compared to most places you eat nowadays. There's a distinct feeling when you walk in that you're sharing a moment in time with the many others who've been here. Carved names & initials in the hardwood, old vanity plates, every type of person...
Absolutely perfect! This was our first time here. The food was exceptional and served quickly! Atmosphere must be experienced! Staff was friendly and very efficient, working together. Cant wait to go back!!!
Been coming here for years. Hotdogs are the best thing they have, burgers are good too. Toasted buns, great fries, and a classic “dive” feel. The place is riddled with old antique license plates and photos and trinkets from all kinds of visitors. Definitely a Lynchburg staple and something you cannot skip.
