This place is a "Diamond in the Rough", there's not many options of ACTUAL REAL seafood in the Lynchburg, VA area....but they have the right idea and feel like they are going in the right direction. I will say, that the oysters you could tell was a struggle cracking them open,(due to the shells I had) but I appreciate the hard work and hospitality. The seafood and service was exceptional and I will definitely be back!
The food was delicious, but it was the service that made this meal truly exceptional. The owner, Thomas, offered up recommendations that aligned to our preferences and he kept us entertained. We’ll be back!
What a quaint small restaurant! We love supporting local places and this is one to try out. The restaurant is family-run. The owner comes out to speak with patrons and his sister was our waitress. I love the old building feel. The bar is small but accommodating - we thought the ambiance was “cute as a button” (sorry for the Southern interpretation ?.) The oysters on the half shell were fresh from Maryland that morning. The homemade soups were fabulous and the salads were yummy....
