My sister and I had the most delicious meals from Home Cookin’ Carry Out today. I had fried Whiting Potato Salad and Collard Greens and my sister had the same things except Candied Yams and Cornbread! We had one of the most scrumptious meals ever. We highly recommend going there and getting such a great meal. Thank you Brittany and Delores for your hospitality.

Food is great, and honestly, I would come again, but since it's like a cafeteria style, 1) I barely talk with the workers and 2) I am not getting any more service than receiving food, so it's hard to rate service. I want to focus more on their food. Great options for soul food. Great portion. Price went up since last year. I am less compelled to go now that the price changed. Desserts were really good. I had their cobbler, and it was delicious.

Loved this place! The fish dinner I ordered was delicious! Freshly fried fish, yams, and greens all perfectly seasoned. The staff was cordial. Everything was fairly priced. The atmosphere could be improved upon. Building needs updating and the manager working when I was there could improve listening skills a bit. I repeated my order 3 times across the counter before it was correct. There also seemed to be general tension between staff and manager while I was there. But the food...
