I have nothing against Insomnia Cookies to be completely honest. I just feel like the name is a little insensitive. Insomnia is something that effects and has affected millions of individuals including myself. Like what exactly went into making the name? I am open to a rebuttal, you have 24 hrs.

If it was possible to leave -5 stars I would, this place has scammed me out of probably $80 in the last month sending out Hard twice baked crunchy disgusting cookies. When you DoorDash the order you get forwarded for complaints to a person named Lisa Bennett, whose mailbox is always full, probably full of complaints. There’s no way this place should have 4.6 stars. I’ve never disputed transactions for food ever have I ever. But I’m damn sure we’re gonna call my bank in the morning and tell them that this place is running a Ponzi.

The cookies are amazing when getting them as is. You also get them slightly heated, which is great. I also had the ice cream cookie sandwich, which was good, but the best part of the cookies were lost a bit in the ice cream. The actual ice cream, spicy chocolate, were really good though! I would recommend just getting the cookies as is.

My first time at insomnia cookies. It was really good. Fresh, warm, melted right in my mouth… good traditional cookie place. Friendly guy working in there. Fast service. Totally recommend!
My son is a leap day baby and the store gave him 6 free cookies on his leap day birthday! It was so nice. The cookies were delicious. I love their cookies and ice cream sandwiches.
Kid-friendliness: The man behind the counter was super patient while my son chose his 6 cookies.
Ordered cookies as a special treat to be delivered and was extremely disappointed in the quality of this product. Yes we could have gone and picked up but we used the delivery service instead. The cookies showed up in timely fashion but they were NOT warm, and tasted older. Spent crazy amount of money for them to be broken and old. Never again. Not even for a special occasion
I had a rude experience with the bald man at the front counter. You would expect nicer and younger people to be working in a college town. I will not be coming back here.

So good ? yes it’s just a cookie ? but they have the best cookies in town. Very simple ordering and very nice employees . Only downfall is the location. It can be a little tricky to get in and out of due to the round about. Lynchburg loves to put them everywhere ? other than that it’s 100% better than the one across street ?(that’s just my opinion.)
