We had dinner at the bar last night, which was a busy Saturday night. The service was personable and professional, the ambiance and music was spot on, and the food better than we remembered or expected. My filet was cooked perfectly, the brussel sprouts were fantastic, and my wife loved the chicken gnocchi. The bourbon caramel cheesecake was devoured in an instant. They seem to be making a lot of very positive changes, and Jimmy's on the James just got moved to our short list...read full review
My experience at Jimmy's was great. It's a quaint spot tucked away neatly in downtown Lynchburg. Our server was very pleasant and willing to assist with any concerns we had. The wine was well priced and delicious, and all the food we ordered was delicious. The atmosphere was calm. It was a very enjoyable evening, overall!
