I am writing this review for the service and food provided at a wedding on September 13 at Mead Lake. Sue, Josie, and Kristi provided a lovely set up for the buffet dinner. They were pleasant to the guests as they served. They kept everything filled and took care of the needs of our guests. I’ve eaten at Mission BBQ in Lynchburg three times in the last week, which probably tells you everything you need to know.

The food is outstanding, but what keeps bringing me back is the people. Every single member of the staff is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and seems to take real pride in what they do. It’s rare these days to find a restaurant where the entire team consistently delivers such great service.

Thank you so much for the wonderful experience today. Well worth the driver from Yanceyville NC to eat the best barbeque. The food and service was the best. I will drive back to eat again. This put Myron Mixon's barbeque to shame.
