The cakes made at the bakery are top notch. I have tried many places. The cakes made at other places are good, but Julie who makes the cakes is the best.
Always has fabulous food and great coffee. The staff is nice and seating is great to escape for a moment with a treat!

The Original Montana Plains Bakery is a paradise for sandwich lovers, offering classic tastes and innovative twists. Everything there is absolutely delicious, including Quiche, Cinnamon rolls, The Hobart sandwich, and other delightful pastries. The Hawk Sandwich is the best sandwich ever had, and the sandwiches are probably the best in town. The soup is really good too. The brioches are equally remarkable, featuring a fluffy, buttery delight. The sausage, egg, and gouda brioche was fantastic, and the stuffed brioche is the best ever. The desserts are incredible and should come with a warning label. Everything is fresh no matter what is decided on. The staff is very warm, friendly, exceptionally welcoming, and always ready with a smile. The bakery has a very laid back vibe but is quick for those on the run at lunchtime. It is a gem and a delight in the neighborhood, the perfect place to grab breakfast or lunch.
