This place is highly rated by most people in the downtown area and I too am one of those who think highly of Dukes Diner. I’ve had hit/miss experiences with their breakfast sandwich options in how they taste, but basically everything else I have tried is amazing! I usually fill up on coffee while here too - their house coffee is just so good! Their staff is always a joy to deal with as well!

We came for brunch and had to wait about 20-30 minutes for a table. Some of the best sausage gravy I've ever had! Would definitely come back. If there's a wait, it's worth it! Try the donuts! Super delicious.

Update: came back 6 years later and the sausage gravy is still amazing!

We ate here twice in two days! The vibe is amazing and the servers and bartenders are great! It’s a great location near liberty University, and in downtown Lynchburg. Super cute and they allow your dogs outside.
