Nice clean place. Felt a little rushed. The guy took our order brought us our food and shortly after brought our check and asked if we needed a box. Didn't ask if we needed refills on our drinks or if we needed anything else. We stayed and finished our meal anyway. Food is very good a little pricey to be rushed and not to be offered refills. My grandson loves to go there so we will keep going. This is the 1st time we felt rushed like that.
Today, I went to the Papa Gallo for the first time with my mom for lunch. We are visiting the area from Florida and wanted to try a local Mexican Restaurant. We ordered the fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimp. The fajitas were very delicious and everything was cooked to order. The chips with the four kinds of salsa were delicious. Our waitress was very friendly as well. I highly recommend Papa Gallo and I will eat here again when visiting Lynchburg.
We really enjoy Papa Gallo when we come to town. The chips and choice of salsas is one of my favorites, but everything I have tried so far has been quite tasty. The staff has always been attentive and friendly, and the wait has always been very reasonable.
