We drove over an hour to have a romantic Valentines date, only to be extremely disappointed. My first plate was brought to the table and food was cold to the touch. Now for second plate still not warm enough to melt the butter for the steak but steak was well done ordered medium rare and was so tough that it was hard to chew with very little flavor. I have to say nothing was what I had expected.
My experience at Shoemakers was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I knew that I was in for a treat. From the charming ambiance to the attentive service to the most amazing culinary experience. The duck confit was delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. It was the best that I've ever had, And the Belgium chocolate mousse was incredible, rich and creamy, yet light and delicious.

Me & my husband had date night 2/3, And you talk about an experience. I had the Filet my husband Salmon w/ shrimp ,incredible melt in your mouth meals.I had the honor by invite to tour the kitchen, Impeccable!! spotless,nothing but fresh ingredients,Chef takes such pride in every detail 👌. Oh and desserts no short cuts no cheap ingredients, nothing but the best ! Thank you Master chef Scholly ! Great start on a wonderful date night !!
