Lynchburg Guide

My favorite sushi place in Lynchburg. The wontons lack flavor, but use some duck sauce and you’ll be all set. Overall, I love this

OMG! My daughter, our friend & I like to try different foods of different cultures. Personally, I like the vegetable bowl. And it's filling.

Rating 5 stars for the lumpia alone. The only place in the Lynchburg area I’ve ever been able to find it made in spring rolls. The other few menu items I’ve had are nothing to phone home about, but have been good. I’ve only ordered through door dash so I’m not sure if more options are available in person, but my only complaint would be how small the orders of lumpia are. Granted, I could eat them as my entire meal.

Suzaku used to be my favorite place to eat. Since it’s changed ownership, it truly is not worth the money anymore. They overcharge the bobo for a drink that’s twice as smaller as the drink they used to give for the same price, and the food is poorly made and under seasoned. There are way better boboa, sushi, and hibachi places in Lynchburg. Save your money and spend it on something that will actually be worthwhile.

I don’t even know what this is supposed to be. I’m no marine biologist but I’m pretty sure tuna isn’t a grey fish . It’s the only thing I got maybe other things are better. Will switch to 2 stars if I can get through tomorrow without changing my pants.

This is my favorite Japanese place in Lynchburg! Amazing service and food. It’s definitely the best place to get boba as well!

Better Sushi options, their filet mignon hibachi is sub par. Best thing is their bubble tea flavor options.

Over-hyped. Consistently disappointed and will not return to give another dime. My spicy tuna roll had slices of cucumber larger than my chopsticks and stuffed full with them, way too much cucumber!!! Very little actual spicy tuna smeared on top. Sushi rice is also very overcooked. Not to mention the cheap soy sauce. If you order Hibachi steak, be sure to ask for light mushrooms or you'll get mostly mushrooms and not steak. Twice I've received only four small pieces of steak in my order and the rest was mushrooms. The very best sushi, in Lynchburg, can be found at Oshii in Waterlick Plaza.

I used to come here a lot when I was living in Lynchburg last year but it hasn't been the same for awhile. Me and my partner come down from Roanoke and before, maybe a year or so ago it was only 20-25 for both of us to eat and get large bubble teas and still have left overs but when we went today everything seemed smaller, specifically their bubble teas, and was more expensive. Their bubble tea used to only be 4.99 for a large, then 5.29, and it's now 6.29 for a smaller amount. I understand times are changing and Lynchburg is a growing college town but its ridiculous our bill was 36 dollars for 4 items (the chicken hibachi, chicken lo mein, and two smoothie bubble teas) while also waiting 10 minutes just to get to the register for a pickup order. This will definitely impact us on choosing to dine here in the future.

Hit or miss. Been here plenty of times because our kids like it, but my wife and I find the food inconsistent. Tried sushi once, but definitely have had better elsewhere. Popular dishes are the hibachi plates with brown rice and vegetables. Yum yum sauce a favorite. If in the area, try it once.

The boba is amazing if you're coming here for Boba you're in the right place. I had the Thai tea and my daughter and husband had the strawberry, all delicious. The service was friendly and fast. The food however was a little disappointing. The prices are reasonable, but the food just wasn't that great. The rice was dried out and my steak was mediocre. The chicken hibachi was more like chicken teriyaki. I recommend for boba, but the food just disappointed me unfortunately.
