I ordered the Love Boat for 2 for takeout, and my girlfriend and I were blown away by both the quality of the sushi/sashimi and presentation. I've been in Lynchburg since I was 5, and I've had sushi from just about everywhere in town. Suzaku absolutely knocked it out of the park tonight.
I came to Lynchburg to do some shopping, and I decided to stop by this place because it had good reviews and I was in the mood for some good sushi. I had to admit, I was disappointed to find out that they only offered imitation crab sticks inside their sushi, instead of what I have been accustomed to at other sushi restaurants. I opted out of the sushi and decided to order a Poke bowl instead. I was surprised to find out that they only allow you to choose 3 toppings and charge...
I ordered a MYO poke bowl and boba. It was pretty dead but took 20 minutes to get my food. The food was fine tasting, but the portions seemed out of whack. It’s a TON of rice and 3 small spoonfuls of toppings with about a 1/4 cup of protein. To add additional toppings is a surcharge of $1.75 each! I’m just not sure it’s worth $12 for a bowl of rice, some mayo, and smatterings of veg. I love making my own poke bowls and thought that the convenience of “fast food” might...
