This is a family run business. They are very friendly & fast. I've eaten here a couple of times & the food is delicious! Today I enjoyed the chicken Vegetable Soup with a grilled cheese. The sandwich is very good, but the soup is awesome. Also, this is a clean deli restaurant. I will be back!

The flavor of the products is excellent! The runs and sauces can stay on the shelf, Bistro Brothers has figures it out without adding junk. It’s just great cooking, southern style. The collards and baked Mac-n-cheese is to die for. Highly recommend!
I was excited to try this BBQ in Lynchburg. I went on a Friday to not only try their fish fry special, but also a pulled pork BBQ sandwich. Like other reviews, the portion is large, but that is about it. The pulled pork is NOT smoked - it is nothing but fat and grease between a bun. There was absolutely no flavor at all - I mean who sells pulled pork at a BBQ place WITHOUT smoking it, especially for $7?? Anyways, they side the sandwich with a small bag of Lays potato chips from Sam's Club. Now onto the fish. Soggy, soggy, soggy. There was not one ounce of the fish that was crispy. The portion was okay - two pieces of fish. They pair the fish with under cooked crinkle-cut French fries (again, not crispy at all; very pale in color) and a piece of untoasted white bread. I am not sure if the tarter sauce was homemade or not, but that was the best part of it. Overall, VERY underwhelming. If you want BBQ in Lynchburg, VA - go elsewhere.
The Bistro Bros. may not strike you as the most professional establishment, but I've never had a better BBQ pulled pork sandwich. I don't even like cole slaw, but I eat theirs!
This place is a solid Barbeque establishment. They cook with wood and serve generous portions. The collared greens are excellent as well.
We lunched there twice. The aroma of bbq will make our mouth water as you enter. The bbq sandwich is the "bomb." The macaroni and cheese was creamy . We had a chicken salad sandwich that was to die for and generous enough for 2 sandwiches. The Italian sub was also very good. Next time I am going to order a bbq plates with all the sides!
I've known the owner for years. When I read he had a new place I had to go. We've now eaten there 3 times. I love the bbq sandwich.
Bistro Bros. has only been open several weeks and this was my first time to eat there. It is conveniently located on Lakeside Drive. I had a pulled pork bar-be-cue sandwich. It was excellent. The meat was fresh and it is cooked every day. The sandwich was very tasty and the sauce and slaw added to the excellent flavor. The portion was also very generous for a reasonable price. There are other items on the menu but I did not try them on this visit. The service was friendly professional, the premises neat and the atmosphere was fine for a casual type restaurant. I enjoyed the bar-be-cue so much I took-out a pound and a half for the weekend. I look forward to returning soon and recommend it highly.
