The service we received by Sadie and Jo was superb - they were very attentive during the entire meal. The complimentary dessert for the birthday celebrant was very nice. All of our meal choices were excellent.
This is a lovely place to dine. We were placed in the very capable hands of Steven and his team who catered to our every need. The shrimp cocktail was excellent. The plump chilled shrimp with homemade cocktail sauce started the off meal with great expectations for the rest. Our steaks, and surf and turf, were perfectly prepared to our liking and delicious. This steak house (and hotel) is one of the premier places in downtown Lynchburg, Va. The menu (like many upscale restaurants) has a limited, but flavourable choices. They cover all palates - vegetarian, fish, steak and pork (without a huge menu of serving everything under the sun). You know it will be fresh, cooked to perfection, with HUGE portions.
