Pleasant service and they had a flavor of wine for everyone in the group. Despite being on a beautiful estate apparently near the bay, the tasting room was in a warehouse in the middle of a field, and was surprisingly uninviting and industrial (floor to ceiling pallets of wine cases surrounding the tasting area). Feels like the tasting experience is an afterthought, and was self-guided with no info about winery or wines discussed. Large outdoor space with lawn games for the kids but limited shade on a blazing July day.

Nice tasting room, welcoming & informative staff. Have table set up outside to enjoy wine by class and offer some cheese plates. Tastings ~$8.. have variety of wines, ~ 8+. Near cape Charles which nice to visit (brewery, distillery, restaurants, shops)

We had a wonderful experience at the winery. We chose the tasting set of six different wines, each offering a unique and delightful profile. After sampling them all, we were so impressed that we ended up purchasing 12 bottles of our favorite local wine. The quality and flavor exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy excellent local wines in a charming setting!

We really enjoyed our visit to the tasting room. Tammy was awesome and we loved talking to the owner and vintner Jon. All the estate grown wines we tried were very good. If you appreciate wine and are in the area, definitely check out this vineyard and winery.

I am blown away that so many varieties of grapes can thrive in VA. And this winery has some excellent wines. The cheese board was excellent too! And Micky took such good care of us, answering all my questions thoughtfully. We'll be back!

Very nice venue. Simple modern decor with very friendly staff. Good selection of wine and tasty food choices. Our only suggestion would be to add a coffee option for the non-drinkers/DDs. Something simple like a single serve Keurig with some half-and-half creamer. Great job Chatham 👏🏻

Great winery with exceptional wines, special occasions like wine and oyster weekends earlier in the year, and a great staff.

Very friendly staff. Stopped here on our day trip and very glad we did. Beautiful, relaxing vibe sipping some wine.

If you get the chance please go. The wine is wonderful!

If you go to this winery don't expect a big fancy tasting room, bar, and/or event space. This is very much a working winery where they grow and process everything that they sell. We did a flight of six which is all the wines that they sell with the exception of a dessert wine. Our personal favorites was an oak aged Chardonnay and a Cabernet Franc. They don't have a kitchen there but they do have some munchies available if you want to just have a glass of wine and relax for a while. They do have both indoor and outdoor seating but the indoor seating is extremely limited so beware of bad weather. Regardless if you're on the Virginia Eastern shore this winery is your only choice, but thankfully it's a good one.

We really enjoy our visits to this small but excellent vineyard. We usually enjoy a couple of glasses of wine with a cheese board.
