“I had the pleasure of visiting the brewery last weekend. The beer selection was varied and very good. I especially liked the Pumpkin and the Porter. We ordered food and it was served quickly and in large portions. Our menu items were the nachos, Rockfish sandwich, and the fish tacos which were all delicious. I met the owner, Mark, his wife Deborah, and their daughter Rachel. They were extremely friendly, personable, and quite funny. This is a great brewery and I hope to get a chance to visit again. I highly recommend Cape Charles Brewery.”

“Excellent Customer Service I was greeted with a smile and very very positive attitude. The food is amazing and a burrito is huge. I actually made three meals off of it. I ate half for the first thing and split the other half and ate it for breakfast for two days mixed with the scrambled eggs it was incredible. The food is very good and a staff is amazing. “In my solo travels I passed The Great Machipongo Clam Shack. It looked really cute and I remembered my son and his dad mentioned they went there and said they loved it. So I decided to stop. As soon as I entered I loved the vibe. Behind the counter, there was a bumper sticker that said practice forgiveness. They had pictures of the Dalai Lama on the wall. They had peace, love, and clams painted on another wall along with Imagine. The staff was kind and attentive and made me immediately feel at home. I chatted with one of the employees named Lisa and appreciated the “love is the answer” bumper sticker she gave me as I left and will proudly display it on my car along with my other “hippie” bumper stickers. As I sat waiting for my food I enjoyed listening to music from the 60s and 70s. My food was brought to me by a woman that greeted me with a big smile. I was checked on a few times by the various friendly employees. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant. The food was great and I left feeling I had a wonderful experience.”

Saw the special on their Facebook page and decided to give it a try. It's the Shorely Pumpkin. Pumpkin pie ice cream, caramel swirl, whipped cream, waffle, graham cracker around the edge and probably some other stuff in there too! 😂😂💯🙌”
