The Shanty is a beautiful and friendly restaurant with a stunning view of the Bay. The menu features great food, including the fantastic Bang Bang Shrimp and delicious kale quinoa salad. Customers recommend the battered shrimp and potato salad, which can be paired with excellent local draft beer. It is a lovely place right on the water with the best view and a beautiful outdoor bar to catch a sunset. The shrimp and fried oysters are fresh and delicious, and the swordfish special is also delicious. The service is awesome, with excellent bartenders and very good waitstaff. It offers great drinks and a really friendly and unpretentious vibe. The food is 5 stars and everything is delicious, making it a popular choice for those visiting the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

great food great service all.of the staff are very accommodating

Geat food, excellent service

YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY ...

This was our 2nd visit, on our way to Ocean City, MD from Richmond, VA, and it's well worth going into Cape Charles, a little out of the way. Food is always fresh & delish, cherry limeade crush was the bomb and the service, Kayle, was awesome. Views aren't too shabby either!

We will be back for sure!!! 🦀🦐🍹
