Very busy place... Get there early if you want a table on the patio. We waited about 1 1/2 hours, luckily the weather was wonderful. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. I had the fried clams and they were lightly breaded with a great seasoning taste. The drinks are well made and taste good as well. Make sure you give yourself time for the wait and dinner.
The crab cake was great, I added it to a ceasar salad. I wish the salad had more dressing though.
The blue crab dip was excellent!! Would definitely get that again.
The angry clams, hush puppies, shrimp tacos, buffalo chicken nachos, and fried shrimp were also delicious.
Calamari was ok.
The homemade chips were overdone, burnt.

The Shanty has one of those waterfront views where you sit down and pretty quickly stop paying attention to your phone for a while.
