This little gem is a local treasure! I've passed by it for years and never took the time to stop until today. There are very few of these old time family restaurants left where you can get simple food cooked exceptionally well, no fuss, great service, with a real homey local diner vibe. The biscuits and gravy were the best I have ever had in Virginia and the home fries were cooked properly, meaning NOT deep fried, but cooked on a flat grill with onions. Portions were huge...
From out of town & decided to try this place out. Food is comforting & delicious. Great prices & speed. Such a home feeling Vickie & Theresa were amazing & momma Dudley was so sweet & funny. Food specials are so worth trying.
Stopped in for breakfast while on a road trip. Server was extremely friendly and chatted with us awhile. Food was great and filling. Loved that she brought us to-go cups of our drinks without us even asking. Fried apples were delicious and true southern sweet tea!
