Fantastic food, great service, wonderful down home waitresses. We're visiting and saw the parking lot was packed and a bunch of older locals heading in the front door. That's the sign that this place is popular. It's not fancy, but it's fantastic!
This little gem is a local treasure! I've passed by it for years and never took the time to stop until today. There are very few of these old time family restaurants left where you can get simple food cooked exceptionally well, no fuss, great service, with a real homey local diner vibe. The biscuits and gravy were the best I have ever had in Virginia and the home fries were cooked properly, meaning NOT deep fried, but cooked on a flat grill with onions. Portions were huge...
From out of town & decided to try this place out. Food is comforting & delicious. Great prices & speed. Such a home feeling Vickie & Theresa were amazing & momma Dudley was so sweet & funny. Food specials are so worth trying.
