I had the buffet. Not many options. Quick and friendly service. My waiter was a young man who was attentive and checked on me throughout my dining experience. The food was good. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Dining area was very clean and spacious. I recommend.

Excellent food and great prices. These guys have accommodated a few company lunches for us on very short notice and did a fantastic job.I attended a festival where Merredith's served Brunswick stew and it was, hands down, the best Brunswick I've ever had at any festival. That's saying a lot, I'm 47 years old. I've been to a LOT of local festivals, in my lifetime!Keep doing what you're doing, guys. Bravo.

I do not give a 5 star review without it being incredible food. This is amazing soul food. The ribs are fall off the bone delicious macaroni is to die for. Homemade deserts gravy can't say enough good things about this place. Truly a gem. Staff is amazing owner is always there and is a very sweet hard working woman. Always go after church when I can. A little pricey but it's homemade not from a box or frozen so I wouldn't complain. 5 star anyday of the week.Edit: 5 years later, mediocre fake potatoes roast is more like alpo bits. Ribs tough. Macaroni and cheese tastes much different. 20 % charge for eating in. 40 for 2 people a bit much. I will not return.

Oh my what a gem located just off the 29 Bypass. We had the Sunday buffet, and everything was fresh and homemade. On Sundays they have ribs, fried and baked chicken, pot roast, greens, sweet potatoes, green beans, cheesy Mac and cheese. Bonus hint they will fry fish for you on Sunday if you request it. Sales bar as well. The cornbread was home made and fresh. We moved on to desserts and oh my what a selection: eclair pudding, warm homemade rice pudding, peach cobbler, warm homemade banana pudding. They also had a variety of slices of cake. This place is a top on my return lists. Check the hours closed on Saturdays and limited hours Tuesday thru Thursday. Friday open till 8pm with fish on the bar.
Meredith's is delicious. I had the beef and gravy and I honestly think it is the best I've ever had. I did takeout next time I'll be eating there. They have a buffet on some days.

I needed some place to meet somebody and wasn't even all that hungry. I walked out with a perfectly clean plate. The meatloaf is as good as Mama, makes but it was a close second. Everybody was very friendly. They have a buffet as well and I look forward to perhaps trying it in the future.
