I have been eating here a few times every few years, for 20+ years. Wonderful restaurant serving German food that is good for large and small groups. We over ordered this time not realizing how much food was coming. The portions on a lot of items could easily be shared (such as the soup). Service was good and everyone was friendly. We enjoyed the salad and the huge pretzel with cheese and mustard. The crab soup was good but too much. The sausage sampler was really good....
We have been driving by this place for over 30 yrs and finally had a chance to give it a try while we were staying locally. It is not inexpensive but it is totally worth the price. Great assortment of meal options. I thoroughly enjoyed the sausage sampler, wife and son loved the Jaeger Schnitzel. The giant pretzel with their signature beer cheese is a must. The breads were out if this world. A few of the sides weren't to our taste but we got to try a lot of new things. Ohh,...
My absolute favorite restaurant. We've been visiting for years and it's a family favorite. We make the 3+ hour drive every year for special occasions and it's well worth the drive. It's always been my favorite restaurant and I'm so happy we get a chance to visit whenever we can and the food is just as phenomenal as always. My ultimate favorite restaurant and we are so excited for our next visit.
