Beautiful location, tasting room is modern and large but a little sterile feeling. Lots of outdoor seating. Unfortunately they were infiltrated by stink bugs and lantern flies so we sat inside to escape the bugs Unfortunately inside had a serious infestation as well. We had gnats, stink bugs and lantern flies all over us and even in a few of our glasses. Service was good but not amazing. Several times when we needed something I could see the staff in the kitchen just talking...
Fantastic all around. From the staff to the food, from the wines (obv) to the scenery and ambience, Early Mountain Vineyard is a gem. Will definitely return, and the breads from Albemarle Baking Company are top notch as well.
While on a surprise 2 day getaway for my wife and adding new places and adventures our first stop was Early Mountain Vineyard for lunch. As we entered and we were warmly greeted, walking through the beautiful main area to the outdoor patio with mountain views. The service was amazing. The food was above amazing and beautifully plated.
