Plenty of variety, lots of choices, servings were huge! We dined outside on their colorful picnic table and it had a nice vibe. The service was excellent and everyone was extremely pleasant and friendly. Everything was tasty.
Amazing food from the Texas Valle, delicious broth soup, tacos, fresh homemade quacamole made for us, a churro with hibiscus sauce homemade !!! lovely stories of food from Mercedes Texas, absolutely authentic from someone who lives in San Benito decades ago!
Paid this place a visit for lunch after hiking Old Rag Mountain. I was pleasantly greeted when I walked in and immediately knew that this was going to be a good experience. The lady, who I presume is the owner, told me her recommendations, and I settled on the shrimp quesadillas with an avocado salsa. The food was prepared very quickly and was very fresh and delicious. They offered to open the windows if I wanted to eat inside so I could hear the music, but I decided to eat outside...
