Lola's Farmhouse Bistro

Wonderful Country feel. Love the setting - modern with a touch of antique. The Staff were so welcoming. We were treated like family. The service was Second to None. No detail missed. The food choices were great. The dinner specials caught our eyes. Everyone truly enjoyed all - From the appetizer, the homemade rolls and butter, to the beverage choices, and especially the dinner entrees selected. Lola's will be definite return visits. It was our first time here, but we will definitely be back. The romantic table on the porch was perfect. The food was very good and they have a nice wine list. The highlight of our visit was the service we received from Brock! Even though he was obviously busy, he made us feel like his only customers. He took the time to make suggestions and checked back with us just the right amount of times. He is an asset to this establishment. Thank you!

Prior to our visit to Lola's Farmhouse, we had heard many good comments about it, so we were looking forward to a very nice dining experience. Well, what we experienced was not what we had heard. The food was very good with sauces that were outstanding. Pricing was fair for today's market. Our waitress did a good job taking our order and bringing us our bread and drinks, but after that we didn't see or hear from her. She never asked how our food was or if we cared for another glass of wine or even water! When she asked if we wanted dessert, I asked her what the restaurant did to acknowledge "special occasions" because when I had made our reservation, I indicated we were celebrating my husband's birthday. We were told we put a little sign board with a message written on it and place it on the table AND, if we ordered dessert, they would put a candle in the birthday persons dessert!!!! Also, if you drink cocktails, as per the waitress, they come in a can!!!! NOT handmade individually at the restaurant. Will we return? It's doubtful. There are too many "fine dining" restaurants in the area that prioritize customer service, etc.

Pasta dish was only lukewarm; sandwich was good. Service was fine - server was covering 8 tables with an average of 4 people/table. So it's no wonder that she wasn't able to check in on us. On the pricey side for what we got.

We had a delicious lunch on the patio with a wonderful server. The food was delicious. We were surprised at the number of people there were on Thursday at lunchtime, so make reservations on line. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have been going to Lola's for many years. Our experience yesterday was not a bad one, but not up to the standard that we had come to expect. My steak was a little tough and over-spiced and my wife's chicken was tough. I'm sure we'll try it again in the future but was just disappointed this visit.

What a local treasure. This is a restored home from the Civil War era painstakingly repurposed as Lola's. Lola is the parrot frequently seen as she roosts on the second floor terrace. Ducks geese and chickens plus a hugely entertaining rooster have been known to strut amongst the outdoor grounds. The food is exquisite and the ambiance is delightful.

Food & service were great! We sat outside, beautiful outdoor space. The artisan cheese board was amazing for our app & really enjoyed the chicken piccata entree! We will be back!

Food was great, waitress was ok. Overall can't think of how to improve the food and the experience was good, just not as exceptional as our prior visit. Adding just a little more light to the dinning area (herd most people in the room complain about being too dark to read the menu) i suppose theu may not have know to tap the lamp to make it a little brighter, not trying to upsell so much and maybe being more attentive to beverage levels so they dont all go empty could improve the experience.

Love this restaurant for a special occasion!

The atmosphere was great and our server was attentive. The food was ok but there was nothing special about it. I was surprised that the syrup was served in a plastic Aunt Jemima container. I would have thought that by paying $15 for French toast maybe it would have been maple syrup or at least the cheap syrup served in a nice glass container. I had the spinach and feta omelet and it was good but it felt like I could have made the same thing at home. With a few tweaks, I felt it could have been outstanding.

This is a Lovely out of the way nugget! I'm hesitant to let everyone know of Lola's Farmhouse Bistro! Because, this lil secret will get out and it will be hard get a reservation! A beautiful and historic farmhouse with spacious seating outside and indoors. They provide atmosphere, nice service, an extensive wine list, but no bar per se. I recommend the branzino and their creative desserts, worthy of attention! Cheers to Lola's

I was disappointed with my meal at my most recent lunch at Lola's. It did not seem up to their usual standards. A friend ordered the same thing and agreed. Another friend had the French dip & seemed pleased. My friends shared the lemon mascarpone cake and thought it was delicious. I will return hoping my recent experience was just a bad day. I love the ambiance of their patio.

Lola's is such a cute place - lovely outdoor seating area. Was able to snag a last minute reservation the night before for lunch on Thurs. We were seated in a section of a new waitress, who really needed more training. We watched another couple get seated 15 minutes after us, get waited on by a waitress and trainee and served appetizers before we even were asked to give an order. We had to ask about specials which delayed ordering even further. The waitress came to check on us and had to ask what our order was again as she couldn't "find the ticket". The couple that came in after us was paying their bill when we finally got our food. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, but service needs to be improved.

What a delightful meal and experience! Our waitress was very nice, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was unique.
