“In town on business and craving some good ol’ ‘pollo a la brasa’? I stumbled upon Pollo Loco and hit the jackpot! They didn’t have pollo saltado on the menu, but when I asked, they whipped it up anyway – talk about service! The gravy? Oh, it was that perfect balance of salty and savory, draping over crispy fries like a tasty little hug. And the green sauce… HOT! ? But in that magical way that makes you reach for more.

Just moved to the area and wanted Peruvian chicken since I’m fasting and came across Pollo Loco. The gentleman at the counter is so kind and friendly, we chatted a little while I waited for my food. I’ve had a TON of Peruvian chicken, but this hands down is the absolute BEST! The seasoning penetrated down to the bone! It was moist, super flavorful, and the skin was sooooooo good! Don’t get me started on the sauces! He warned me about their red sauce being spicy (I love spice)...
