Anita's has great food if you know what to order for the price.
AVOID THE GUACAMOLE!! I find it hard to believe it's made in house based on the taste even though I know it is. Don't pay insanely high prices at a restaurant for grocery store quality guac. Plus my husband asked for a small side of guac for our meal and instead they charged him $20 for a poorly made pint and bag of chips. Stick to the reasonably priced and delicious breakfast burritos. Staff seems annoyed to have to be working but same so I can't blame em, quite honestly.
Always phenomenal
have had several carry out orders over the past couple of years, mostly breakfast and sometimes lunch. the biscuit & sausage gravy has always been good and a go to, the taste and portion were always spot on and quick to serve. for this morning my order was the potatoes & sausage gravy but the gravy was not even enough to coat the potatoes and the sausage bits were MIA. totally unlike their biscuit & gravy. this will not stop me from returning but no more potatoes & (wish) gravy for me.

Food is great but To-go orders beware
Stuff is missing frequently.
Two different orders on different days
Customization toppings usually missing
(Paid extra for bacon added to biscuit, wasn’t added)
Or parts of order just not provided
(Pancakes ordered didn’t get eggs or syrup as indicated on website listing)

Food was mid , at best. Guac tasted and looked like it was from the giant across the street.
Service was even worse. There was us and one other table in the restaurant , with 4 employees all on their phones. We had to keep flagging our waitress down to order , drink refills , etc , and she acted like it was a bother to be working there.
In an area with so much choice in tex mex and Mexican food, this is not a good choice to make.
Legendary Anita's - you haven't tasted the finest recipies until you've tried Anita's. All you've had is stuff out of a bulk order can.

Good Mexican food.
Salsa Rosa is Fire Roasted - it has a particular taste. It was delicious but I prefer Pico de Gallo.
Burrito was served Wet, which seems to be a thing here in Manassas? If you don’t want it smothered in sauce, be sure to ask!
Food was delicious. Fresh tortilla. Tasty chicken. Really lovely, fluffy rice on the side. Chips were crisp and salted perfectly.
Chips and salsa are extra charge - but in this day and age, you should expect that. This is not a complaint, but I heard someone else grumble about it so I thought it was worth mentioning.
Parking is generous and easy.
Staff are super! Food came out fast. I took mine to go and only waited a few minutes for it to be all wrapped up nicely.
Inside is clean and comfortable. Not too loud, and appropriately festive.
Very good, solid restaurant.

Guacamole was rancid, and the chicken taquitos taste like they were rewarded from 2 days ago. I have been going to Anita's for 40 years, and the Manassas location should be closed. Atmosphere sux and quality of food is not as good as it used to be. Servers at Manassas location are lackluster.. hire so.e responsible adults!! Officially my LAST visit. S U X

Nice location, clean restaurant with good service. Food is almost all covered in the same red chile sauce which to me tastes exactly like Old El Paso taco sauce you get from the grocery store. Its a shame because I feel the quality of meat here is better than most Mexican spots, but everything being drowned in the same sauce makes for an overpowering, yet bland meal.

Charged me $3 for this green chili sauce. Then gave me this! When I saw the size I ask for a refund! The manager came over and said that this is correct size.. But I can get green chili on the side for free when i order on the app… $3 damn dollars!

Breakfast burritos are the bee's knees. I do miss the on-site packaged salsa, versus the new pre-packaged plastic pouches.
Anita’s breakfast burritos are so good, never fails. Everyone here was very nice. And I’m happy they are open early.
They are definitely doing it right at this place, I can’t wait to go back and enjoy my time sitting down in this beautiful restaurant. Thank you!!
