If I could give this adorable, so comfortable place 10 stars I would! Everything from the greeting when I walk in, the cute Halloween decorations, the character of the bar and space, the music, the people… just everything was so welcoming and just perfect! I was craving shrimp and grits and found Battle Street Bistro from this app- Google maps. I was hoping it would be worth a 30 minute Uber ride for my craving! O. M. G. The Shrimp and Grits were amazing! So flavorful! Perfectly grilled shrimp with a perfectly spiced sauce with red pepper, sweet corn… over the best grits I have ever had. The grits were formed in a ‘cake’ and complemented the sauce beautifully. I finished and savored every single bite. I sew some of the other dishes coming out too- beautiful French Toast, and what looked like a fluffy egg omelet. My server Aime was very friendly, welcoming, and on top of it proving great service too!
I met Sara the owner and she is so sweet! She said this is her second restaurant. I totally see her being THE chef/owner of the area for a long time. The vibe and food is so good.😊

This bistro has excellent tasting burgers! Loved my mushroom Swiss burger, and my friends enjoyed their bistro burgers. Beer selection is small, but appropriate for the season. We sat up on the roof where there were plenty of seats and umbrellas. It was a fall festival in the area, so it was pretty busy. Great place to stop in for lunch.

1. We did not open the food until we left 2. We didn’t get what we ordered, two completely different meals 3. There were pecans in both meals 4. Like legit nuts, in a rice dish and a linguini dish. 5. Everything was extremely salty
I can appreciate the thought of having a vegan menu BUT we will never be back. What if we were allergic to nuts? Nuts were not mentioned on the menu in the items we ordered or anywhere on the vegan menu to be honest.
Just completely thrown off by this place and what they thought they were doing. The food that we got (not that we ordered) was the same thing essentially but different starches (rice v noodles). I hope their omnivore menu is better, because the execution of what we got was pretty bad.

We only got carry out, ordered the pork sandwich and linguini rosa. The sandwich came with fries and an aioli that was very tasty. Everything was delicious. It was a busy Saturday night but I was able to find free parking a block away.

I just came here for the first time today. The atmosphere is great and the food tastes great. That said, my 3-star review has more to do with pricing. I ordered the shrimp and grits, a dish that costs almost $20. When it arrived, it was composed of two grits patties which cost $4 (I know because I got the grits as a side for my toddler, and that’s what they cost), and then—get this—FIVE, yes, five shrimp. Do you mean to tell me that FIVE shrimp and the sauce, with a little corn and pico on top is worth almost $16?! That’s ridiculous. Make it make sense.
Just had brunch. Awesome meal. Highly recommend this to anyone!! Had the Greek Scramble - delish!

I really want to like this restaurant, and I do really like their food. It’s exceptional consistently. I just wanted to share my thoughts and items that I would consider needing improvement. It says on their website that fries are included with all of their sandwiches. That is not the case. At least three times visiting there, I’ve received a really tasty sandwich with no fries. Which is fine for an $8 sandwich but I think their cheapest sandwich is around $15. But more importantly it’s about the principle, don’t put things on your website that aren’t true. The most recent time, I called to confirm that fries are included immediately after I ordered and was told verbatim “both sandwiches will have fries included,” referring specifically to my order. Not true. The parking situation is also unpleasant, they have about six spots total that are shared with other businesses. If not for these things, they’d have all my money.

Our third time here in only a month! I adore this place! It is small, quiet and cozy. The food is creative and amazing! The wait staff are doing God’s work cheerfully and it rolls up into a dynamite package and experience to be had! Thank you all for your great attitudes and a dedication to perfect food! I enjoyed sitting and dining on their rooftop. Great views of historic Manassas. I got the spicy chicken benedict and the lemonade/cucumber/mint drink that was amazing. Great places to grab drinks or sit and enjoy a good meal. My boyfriend said his burger was bland and could use more flavor in the meat. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves.
