My wife and I came in to celebrate our anniversary, we were given a complementary glass of sparkling wine. The serving staff worked as a team, while our waiter took the order and would check up on us, other members were refilling the water glass, and bringing out out food. Was a little delayed between courses but nothing unreasonable, and we were not in a hurry. The food, the wine, the service, all were top notch!

We had not been to Carmello's for years, and were glad we made this return trip! The menu was well curated, and our choices were outstanding. We had the octopus and house salad for starters, followed by the paella and veal medallions. The baked octopus was superb, and the shrimp in the paella was excellently done. We both enjoyed glasses of the Tempranillo. We will be back.

I love linen tablecloths, good wine and tasty menu selections. We spent a lovely evening enjoying excellent service and a friendly staff. There were even sub $30 wine selections (Toscana). We enjoyed #223 Montepulciano. The meals were attractively presented on large plates which enhanced our evening. I highly recommend the pork shank! Easy 5 stars!

My wife and I had a very long week, and so when Friday finally rolled around we considered our restaurant options way too carefully. After considerable negotiation (more inline with a peace treaty than a dinner) we finally agreed on this gem in Old Town Manassas. The experience was perfect: the staff were attentive and on point, the food was incredible, and the drinks were just what the doctor ordered. Stephen, the manager, dropped by to ask how things were going. A few minutes later two items we off-hand had mentioned--a Bar Drake Manhattan and an Affogato--arrived on our table. It was the perfect end to an imperfect week. Thank you Carmello!Vegetarian options: Portobello mushroom salad and Vegetarian Lasagna were very good!

My wife and I had a nice Sunday dinner there recently. Hadn't eaten there in awhile but I'm glad we went back. I had the 32 ounce bone-in Prime Rib cooked Medium which was nicely seasoned. I just loved it!! It's a huge amount of food and I couldn't finish it so all so I had the rest the next day. It was nicely charred on the outside and wonderfully moist and pink on the inside. I still think about it and can't wait to go back and have it again. I can't remember what my wife had...LOL. I can't stop thinking about the prime rib.

We hadn’t been to Carmello’s in Old Town Manassas in several years, so we recently went back with friends. They offer a corking fee, we were told it was $20 when we called, but when we got the bill, it was $25, which isn’t too bad, as we brought 2 bottles to share.Everything about the experience was excellent! Our server, Brian (Hispanic guy with longer hair tied back) was very very good! I’m calling him out, because they need to ensure all their servers are of his quality and training. He was spot-on with taking care of our table, corking and pouring our wine, making recommendations and telling us about their menu, etc. His great service definitely made the meal and experience that much better!All the items we got were great! Yes, the prices are a little high for PWC, but once you see the platings and taste the food, you’ll agree that it’s worth it!We’ll definitely return!

It's was a busy Valentines Day but the service and food was fantastic and the atmosphere wasn't too loud despite the number of patrons. Our server Faith was particularly good and was a great balance of attentiveness and leaving us to enjoy our experience
The food was all flavorless and bland. The quality wasn't good. The presentation of the food was nice but deceiving after you tasted it .The appetizers, puff pastry and baked Brie to Carmellos salads, Caesar salad , the main courses ravioli and salmon all disappointing. The free bread was dry and the complimentary chocolate covered strawberries at the end were too mushy to eat. The only thing we enjoyed were the drinks. The restaurant ambience and service was good but the food is not worth the price. After spending $200 it was not worth it. I would never go back.

I had the veal & Risotto dish. The texture of the veal resembles sausage and risotto was too broken. It was also noisy there, and can't believe we had to pay a convenience fee for using our credit card.

I enjoyed dinner here last night with my husband! We spend a lot of time in Old Town Manassas, and although we have eaten at so many other restaurants and Monza (partner restaurant), we had never tried going here. The service, food, and drinks were all on point! The vibe is upscale and cozy, which we loved. We started the meal with complimentary glasses of rosé and bread, which were both great. We shared the baked squid appetizer (yum!!!) and each got a seafood entree. All of the food was fabulous and the portion sizes were nice. We have a new date night spot for sure.

We only had drinks and appetizers which were all very good, and the service was excellent from start to finish, but halfway through our meal a couple was seated near us that was drenched in heavy perfume and I literally could not breathe without coughing, it was so very offensive and I know not the fault of the restaurant, but I would suggest considering seating when this scenario arises again. I will likely return here because the food and service were good.

We have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Carmello’s, chosen as one of 4 top Restaurants in Prince William county! We were thrilled to host a private client event for almost 90 guests at the restaurant which involved a lot of planning and staff to make it go smoothly. This was our 8th annual VIP Winter White Party so needed to be perfect. We started the planning process months before the event and Stephen remained in regular contact with us to ensure everything was planned to a T. They were very accommodating and helped us pick a fantastic menu. The night of the event, Stephen, Nick, Brian, Melissa and the entire staff were extremely kind and professional with our guests. The food was amazing, especially the salmon! All of our guests had rave reviews for the food and the service. The whole experience was an absolute pleasure. Whether you’re planning an event or just thinking of going here for dinner, you will not be disappointed!!
