Stopped into City Tavern after the Manassas St. Patrick’s Day parade and it was a great call. Since it was a little off the main parade path, it was busy enough to feel lively but not packed, which made it easy to get seated. Donald took care of us almost right away, and the service stayed friendly and attentive the whole time.

Food was good, I think. Don't go with a group - Donald will get too flustered, refuse to give separate checks, and get more rude as the night goes on. Water? Too much trouble! Half and half iced tea? I recommend City Tavern! The food can be excellent (although somethings some days not always perfect) the service is friendly and relaxed which is something that I truly apprecate and the Atmosphere is well... an honest local Tavern of course.. Eating inside can be LOUD expecially near the bar (which I don't like so much) but when the weather is nice or when the dining area inside is open this is the local place where my wife and I choose to go for lunch or dinner, expecially...
