Arturo’s kitchen, formerly known as Doña Sazón, is an amazing spot for real Peruvian food. The delicious, well-served platos peruanos offer an excellent cultural experience, especially the typical menu Peruano at noon for lunch. The lomo saltado is out of this world, while the leche de tigre is fresh and zesty, and the choritos a la chalaca taste just like home. The marinated meats and traditional Peruvian drinks are delicious, and they even give Peruvian popcorn. The service is top notch, with friendly, attentive staff who treat customers like family. The food is always incredible, very tasting, and the prices are affordable. This great hole-in-the-wall, right off of Sudley Road, is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Northern Virginia—a comfortable weekly spot that is highly recommended.
